Gosh, where did you hear that? Cause I've heard a far more believable fact about why Link's hair was pink in LttP.

Also I learned that sometime over the past month, I acquired a penny minted in 1941. I don't know if it's worth more than a modern penny though.

I have a small collection of pennies from that era (with the wheat on the back instead of the Lincoln Memorial). They're generally around the same value as a regular penny, though, I think there's like one or two rare exceptions.

I'd heard (and believe) that Link's hair (and bunny fur) was a "strawberry blonde" color, and that color tone wasn't supported by the SNES. So, to make the strawberry blonde effect, they used pink.
