that I if I were to buy a microsoft console, I'd go crazy thinking about making the wrong decision and trade it in to a gamestop to buy a playstation instead.
(I wish I could leave the console wars to support nintendo, but I can't because of the sony exclusives being so awesome)
also, I didn't learn the above statement today, but 5 years ago, so here's a more recent one:
that the president of sony computer entertainment worldwide studios is a bit of a softie for his rivals, as he owns two wii u's, been kicked off of miiverse twice for reasons unrelated to playstation and his job, and he thought the new CEO of the xbox division of microsoft is "the perfect choice" for that company because "there's no one more human than him when it comes to gaming"

that during the investigation into the crash of Swissair Flight 111, terrorism was briefly suspected when what appeared to be birdshot was found embedded in the remains of the plane. It turned out that the birdshot wasn't birdshot at all, but instead balls for ball-point pens and that the force of the crash embedded them in various parts of the plane.

that what happened to Swissair 111, an electrical arc setting fire to insulation, is virtually guaranteed to happened at least one more time as some developing airlines (mostly in Indonesia and Africa where there is less regulation and oversight) have refused to change out the insulation for something less flammable.

Something that I feel is a little too dirty to share publicly. It does, however, make some stuff now reasonable.
