This is pulled from a series of Tweets I did awhile back. I just wanted to share now because, y'know, Homestuck's over and all, and it really has changed my life for the better in the past four years. And you don't even have to know or like Homestuck to get something from this, so I figured I'd put this in a blog instead of the thread.

no spoilers, just me riffing about life, and things:

Starting now, I am working to not be on electronics so much. I have come to recognize that I have become addicted to screens, and I feel myself suffering.
I haven't read a book for fun outside of English class for too long. I have tons of art projects I want to do. I have fallen behind on scripture reading and journal writing. I told myself when I got a smart phone that I wouldn't be addicted, yet here I am, making this post via my phone. I have done better not being on the computer, but only because of this tiny one in my hand now.

I have known I've kinda had a problem for a while...

Yesterday, I was released from my local hospital after having been in the emergency room for two days and the psychiatric ward for sixteen. I'm depressed, anxious, and suicidal. I've been put on medication for it, thankfully, but that doesn't change the fact that I have cut in the past, as well as overdosed on medicine. following in bae's footsteps I'm officially a moderator on BMGf! I was approached by Enzap about a week ago, and I was officially promoted and announced today as a moderator of both Fun and Games and The War Room.

Other names that you may recognize that were promoted: I'll be working with Zexy and Maniacal Engineer in F&G/TWR, Freesia will be working in Outside the Box, and leetic/Bandido Bandera will be working in the TCG forum.

It's kind of cool to take a step back and look at how far I've come ^-^

My grandmother from my dad's side of the family passed away this morning at about 10:30 from complications resulting from Stage IV Colon Cancer...


I was already expecting this when I first learned of her cancer. Perhaps some of you noticed that halfway through my Mangle theme that I put a blue ribbon in the signature. For a while she was showing remarkable improvement and during Christmas, she seemed to be doing well all things considered. But unfortunately things took a turn for the worse a few weeks ago and she became bedridden for the most part and was barely able to feed herself....

Firstly, battles can be either mental or physical. Meaning that an argument uses the same mechanics as battle with some slight changes, so lets begin!

So today was an interesting day at work. Started off miserably...

For the past week or so, I've been off and on fighting some sort of bug that's been going around. Last week, it attacked my sinuses (though, that may have been all the hay I had to deal with that started that mess), so last weekend was miserable with a runny nose, sinus pressure, headache, other stuff that makes your head feel like it's about to fall off...

Thought I was getting better after that weekend, but this weekend, it came back with a vengeance... Sore throat, headache, coughing, runny nose, sneezing,...

I haven't been on the last few days, not because I can't or don't have time (I was hanging out in steam). The reason I haven't been on is because for a while now, I've been getting more and more anxious when I posted. It kept getting worse and worse until I eventually just started writing out posts, deleting them, then just not doing anything...so I decided to leave for a bit...but now I'm back...maybe? idk.
