Get hype for E3! I'm Lief Katano, once again bringing you everything you need to know about Super Smash Bros.! I'll also, of course, be doing a blog post about Nintendo's E3 Digital Event. Today's Smash Direct coincides with Lucas becoming DLC; he'll become available thirty minutes after the event starts. Meaning that the event should only take thirty minutes. But thirty minutes just to talk about Lucas...? Hmmmmm.

(Remember that I started this before the Direct.)

    Smash logo opens, aaaand...lag.

Fire Emblem characters open! Then someone asks us to not...

So today I managed to pull the clutch master cylinder out of the Ford Ranger. Though in the process I made the mistake of removing a snap ring I though would hold the master cylinder's push rod in place. Nope, instead that snap ring holds the guts of the master cylinder in. I've never seen this kind of thing before, but it didn't take me very long at all to figure out what I had just done.

Thankfully I found that the master cylinder is not destroyed by this process and was able to reassemble the master cylinder on the bench by pushing the guts back in and reinstalling the snap ring.

In which Lief describes the different types of Trap Cards
Greetings! Last time, I talked to you about Spell Cards. Today, I will be informing you about Trap Cards!

Trap Cards cannot be played directly from your hand. Instead, you must first Set them. After your opponent conducts their draw for the turn, you can activate the Trap Card, so long as any activation requirements are fulfilled. They're Spell Speed 2, so they can add to Chains. And start them.

There's only three types of Trap Cards. But first, Lief was a derp and forgot about another type of Spell...

In which Lief describes the different types of Spell Cards
Greetings! Last time, we talked about even more Monster types. Today, we're moving on to a new type of card: the Spell Card! They don't protect your Life Points, but they're still just as useful as monster cards.

There's five different types of Spell Cards (not counting Pendulum Monsters, which are their own thing and don't fall into any of the categories below). Each of them are played in the Spell/Trap Zones, which lie behind your Monster Zones. You can only have five Spell OR Trap Cards active at once, though...

In which Lief describes three more types of monsters.
Greetings! Last time, we started talking about different types of monsters. We'll continue that this time with three more types of monsters: Fusion, Xyz, and Pendulum!

More large images this update, so...if you're computer/internet is still awful, this might not be the best place for you to be. We'll start off with Fusion Monsters:

In which Lief describes three types of monster cards
Greetings! Last time, we talked about starting and ending a game, as well as the basic flow of a turn. Now we'll be talking about monsters! You can't live without them. Seriously, though, making a no-monster deck is an awful idea, why would you do that.

We're going to need some large images in this how-to today, so if your computer and/or internet can't handle's a problem.

So let's throw up a monster card! Ladies and gentlemen...Dark Magician!

So today I finally got a chance to work on the 1994 Ford Ranger that I want to buy, assuming I can get her running together. Now I've often glanced at the truck from a distance within the shop and I haven't really gotten the chance all school year to really examine her. Today I was considerably more intimate with this truck and learned quite a bit about her.

First thing is that her shifter isn't as tall as I thought, nor does it have a bend in the column. I moved the shifter throughout all the gears and was satisfied by what I was feeling. Yes it has less resistance than what I'm used...

In which Lief describes a turn in the classic children's card game
This is, as the title states, part of a series of blog posts about how Yu-Gi-Oh! is played. This first post will be about a typical turn in Yu-Gi-Oh, as well as setting up the game.

    Before the game starts
You must, obviously, have an opponent. Both you and your opponent must have a 40-60 card deck - officially the Main Deck, but most cards even just call it the "Deck", and we will here. Optional but typically beneficial is an "Extra Deck" that can store up to 15 Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz monsters - special types of monsters with special conditions to be played. We'll...

So, as you should know, E3 is approaching fast.  And with the approach come the "leaks."  The leak for Nintendo's Digital Event showed some interesting stuff, and although it's probably fake, I'll still share the picture for kicks.

(I guess I could have posted...

This girl that goes to my school passed away recently. The story goes that she was feeling ill on Monday, so she went to the doctors, who said it was too serious, so then she was rushed to the hospital nearby...but she died in the early morning. Like I said before, it was a random sickness that just suddenly appeared, and turned out to be fatal.

She was an 18 year old senior. She was 9 weeks away from graduating and had a scholarship to Virginia Tech. She was pretty, popular, and a star player for the softball team. I never knew her, but I'm still shocked and...angry. She was too young,...

Surprise! Micro Direct! I guess it's not that big of a surprise since there was an Nintendo Direct yesterday... We start off with Bill being small. Whoops. Also Bill's awesome.

New Chibi Robo game! Who's surprised? It's called Whiplash. And it's an action game! He can use his plug to attack and grab stuff. It looks like it's still timed via battery power, but you can renew it. There's an amiibo that's part of the bundle that allows you to become Super Chibi Robo! Coming out October.

New Dr. Mario game! A new item called the Miracle Cure that can do stuff like eliminate viruses...

I am chronicling events which I've experienced on May 28th, 2015, which were tiring and memorable. I've split it up into three parts so that this blog post is easier on the eyes.

Early to Mid Morning (Last Final):
Originally, I planned to wake up early and take a shower but I decided in a split second, upon hearing my blaring alarm from my iPod, that it would be more rational to have 5 hours of sleep versus 4 hours of sleep. From the time I awoke thereafter, I had a fairly normal morning. I...

So lately whenever I've been alone with my grandpa he has given quite a bit of life advice. So I thought I would go ahead and bullet point much of it.

*Every paycheck should be used in the following way: First save part of it in a savings account, next pay off your bills, finally you can use what is left over for yourself. Even a janitor can become a millionaire if he follows this.

*Family is important, no matter how much you hate your siblings. When stuff really goes down, more than likely they will be the only ones there for you.

    *There is always someone worse...

I had such an interesting day today.

First off was the bus ride to school. I noticed on the way in to my home school that the shuttle bus I would be riding on the way to my techinical school was sub bus. Further more, the number was 777, something that was planning on joking about. But what also caught my eye was that there were stickers on this bus that normally aren't present on my county's fleet.

When the bus pulled up to pick me up, I saw that it was my regular driver and the sticker read "C2e Hybrid". To my knowledge this is the only hybrid school bus in the entirity...

first Nintendo announces mobile games, then the cubs get in a winning streak and an overall good year, after that, I am close to being out of high school for real(I almost have enough credits to graduate early), next, the new spongebob movie ACTUALLY HAS THE OLD SPONGEBOB CHARM, finally it turns out I visited universal 2-3 years too early
time to sing R.E.M. because it's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine).

Here is my review of Death Note. Enjoy :) Please be aware I am not definitively saying this is how the series is; I am stating my opinions to the best of my abilities in a neutral manner, which is still going to be flawed. I also mention if there is something that personally irritates/pleases me but isn't necessarily part of the "review" if that makes sense.

I considered approaching each character separately but decided to group the characterization...

Today was such an interesting day.

First was some more brake work on the Safari van. Year one took the brake system back apart and discovered the reason why the brakes didn't appear to be working. Turns out the cannabilized brake booster didn't have a master cylinder push rod, thus meaning we weren't even pushing on the master cylinder and were doing virtually nothing.

But although they told my teacher that they bled the brakes (your brakes don't work if there's air in the system), I pushed on the pedal and found they had not brought the brakes up a sasifactory level. Hell...

    been on bulba too much
unless I can truly balance out two forums, I have to sacrifice one or the other, and more often than not, I sacrifice this one because of bulba being my first true "home" on the interewebs. I think I may need to start choosing this one over bulba though, considering I know everyone here more, and I have more friends here nowadays.
if I can recommend some of my favorite users on bulba over here, then maybe I would be more willing to come back more often.

Japan hates all manners of tomfoolery, so we have announcements instead!
Greetings! I am Shadow Lief, and I'm bringing Nintendo's latest Nintendo Direct directly to you! Get out your bingo cards - this is going to be a wild ride, I'm sure.

First up is...Mewtwo! And my internet crashing! Lovely, internet, lovely. We all wish that we could be as lazy as you and get away with it. And Lucas is back, coming out of nowhere! That's what the trailer said. He has all of his Brawl specials back. He's coming around June.

Also there's a Fighter Ballot for Smash Bros.! I'm going to vote for a Shin Megami Tensei character. I think they're shunning Cat Mario,...
