I am chronicling events which I've experienced on May 28th, 2015, which were tiring and memorable. I've split it up into three parts so that this blog post is easier on the eyes.

So lately whenever I've been alone with my grandpa he has given quite a bit of life advice. So I thought I would go ahead and bullet point much of it.

*Every paycheck should be used in the following way: First save part of it in a savings account, next pay off your bills, finally you can use what is left over for yourself. Even a janitor can become a millionaire if he follows this.

*Family is important, no matter how much you hate your siblings. When stuff really goes down, more than likely they will be the only ones there for you.

    *There is always someone worse...

I had such an interesting day today.

First off was the bus ride to school. I noticed on the way in to my home school that the shuttle bus I would be riding on the way to my techinical school was sub bus. Further more, the number was 777, something that was planning on joking about. But what also caught my eye was that there were stickers on this bus that normally aren't present on my county's fleet.

When the bus pulled up to pick me up, I saw that it was my regular driver and the sticker read "C2e Hybrid". To my knowledge this is the only hybrid school bus in the entirity...

first Nintendo announces mobile games, then the cubs get in a winning streak and an overall good year, after that, I am close to being out of high school for real(I almost have enough credits to graduate early), next, the new spongebob movie ACTUALLY HAS THE OLD SPONGEBOB CHARM, finally it turns out I visited universal 2-3 years too early
time to sing R.E.M. because it's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine).

Here is my review of Death Note. Enjoy :) Please be aware I am not definitively saying this is how the series is; I am stating my opinions to the best of my abilities in a neutral manner, which is still going to be flawed. I also mention if there is something that personally irritates/pleases me but isn't necessarily part of the "review" if that makes sense.

Today was such an interesting day.

First was some more brake work on the Safari van. Year one took the brake system back apart and discovered the reason why the brakes didn't appear to be working. Turns out the cannabilized brake booster didn't have a master cylinder push rod, thus meaning we weren't even pushing on the master cylinder and were doing virtually nothing.

But although they told my teacher that they bled the brakes (your brakes don't work if there's air in the system), I pushed on the pedal and found they had not brought the brakes up a sasifactory level. Hell...

    been on bulba too much
unless I can truly balance out two forums, I have to sacrifice one or the other, and more often than not, I sacrifice this one because of bulba being my first true "home" on the interewebs. I think I may need to start choosing this one over bulba though, considering I know everyone here more, and I have more friends here nowadays.
if I can recommend some of my favorite users on bulba over here, then maybe I would be more willing to come back more often.

Japan hates all manners of tomfoolery, so we have announcements instead!
Greetings! I am Shadow Lief, and I'm bringing Nintendo's latest Nintendo Direct directly to you! Get out your bingo cards - this is going to be a wild ride, I'm sure.

First up is...Mewtwo! And my internet crashing! Lovely, internet, lovely. We all wish that we could be as lazy as you and get away with it. And Lucas is back, coming out of nowhere! That's what the trailer said. He has all of his Brawl specials back. He's coming around June.

Also there's a Fighter Ballot for Smash Bros.! I'm going to vote for a Shin Megami Tensei character. I think they're shunning Cat Mario,...

    I've been invited to Prom?

But I don't think I want to go...I mean, I've heard some pretty nasty things about school dances, you know. I've never been to one, but I really don't think I'd truly want to. It's more complicated than that, though.

I've been invited by a friend.

And it's more awkward than that.

I'm pretty sure he likes me.

And it's even worst than that, because he's a really nice guy, but we're just friends, but it's pretty obvious he likes me...should I continue to try to ignore that and indirectly show that...

So i'm doing this research project for English class. Usually I don't mind these kind of things, but i'm falling behind on it. As I sit down to get some sources today, I find these really nice looking articles. While trying to look at these sources, I couldn't actually view the entire documents without "signing up" (for FREE, might I add...) so I make a little account through facebook. And you know what? I still can't look at or print any of these sources! I must pay for a premium membership in order to even look at these sources! Signing up is not good enough! False advertising, I tell...

In Chemistry today we we're supposed to be asking the teacher about any questions we had about the test yesterday (Which I got a 7.5 out of 10 on, and that was because I didn't remember what the units were :U) And after figuring out what the units were the Senior next to me turned to me and asked me if I knew how to play the Hand Reflex game we all played in Elementary school (This is the game where you hold your hands above/under your opponents. If you're under you have to go above your opponents hands and slap them, if you're above you have to dodge your opponent)

    And well I knew how...

So the networking presentation I attended this morning was pretty good. First take away from it is that we actually create all the stress in our lives because we let our problems take control of us. Only those with a blank mind can really conquer and fully understand their environment. Too philosophical? Well there's other stuff I learned.

For example, when you first greet someone for the first time, you should say both your first and last name while shaking one's hand firmly, but not hard. Also no dainty little handshakes that makes like you want the other person to kiss your hand....

So strong is my interest in a gooseneck trailer that I have started investigating what size would actually suit my needs. And I feel that the biggest thing my trailer should be able to carry is a full-sized truck, especially since I'm gearing my experitise to diesel and heavy-duty pickups are usually what have diesels nowadays.

After a little research, I have determined I would need a trailer with a capacity of 10,000 pounds to comfortably haul a full-sized truck, complete with duals on the rear axle. The heaviest truck I've found is a Ram 3500, with a curb weight of 8960 pounds. Yes,...

So I believe at this point it's quite clear I love trucks. And one idea I've had since around the time I decided to become a mechanic is to offer people tows with a truck and flatbed. Now off and on over the past few months I've looked at different flatbed trailers. Well today I decided to learn more about a type of trailer that's quite a bit heavier duty than the ubiquitous bumper pull trailer, the Gooseneck.

Most trailers of are of the type that mounts to a trailer hitch bolted either on the bumper itself, or behind the bumper. The Gooseneck attaches to a mount in the middle of the...

So one of the things I like about working in the Automotive Servicing Technology program is that every day is unique and different. Today stands out as one of the more interesting and amusing days.

Starting off with this morning I was told to figure out why one of the school's trucks (a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 w/5.3L V8, Regular Cab, Long Bed) was displaying an check engine light with a code pertaining to an emissions thingy. I had previously diagnosed this problem as a unplugged, possibly missing altogether, connector at the component the code relates to. Since I suspected the connector...
