Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Spoiler:
Yay! New province!
Things are looking good in the other provinces as well.
My troops are just over an hour away from reaching their destination, so I should have another province by my next update.
For now, I'm going to send Moka over to the Swedish Capitol to help out there.
I'll also send some troops down to Calmar since my bomber has just about taken care of the troops there.
I'll start building up my newest province with a Recruiting office. Once it's done, I'll start on a fortress.
Crap... They're rebelling a bit in Trondhjem.... Now I'll have to repair those buildings again.....
And just so this doesn't happen again, I'll go ahead and use some goldmarks to get the morale up.
Ah, my recruiting office is done now, so I'll go ahead and build that fortress now. Hopefully, there's no major rebelling here....
Since I have enough, I think I'll go ahead and build another bomber.
And after trading stuff on the stock market and adjusting my consumption rates, I think I'm good for now.
And that's about it for now, so until next time, see ya!

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Spoiler:
Everything seems to be going well! I have a few more new provinces, including:
This one up here andOMGI'MUNDERATTACKAGAIN!!!!!!!1!!!11!
My troops are over 10 hours away and it's currently Sweden's 6 troop units to my 1 lone unit still hanging on.... This doesn't look too good.
At least I should be able to take it back if/when Sweden recaptures it.
Well, I think I've bombarded the capitol long enough to where I should be able to just walk in a take it, so I'll send around 20 units.
I'll go ahead and send Moka a bit further ahead to start bombarding the rest of Sweden. I'll also send a few more troops toward that way to help with the invasion.
Now onto building stuff:
Ooooo! Free Armored Cars! Just need to rebuild the workshop.
Now I'm just building and upgrading fortresses here and there:
There we go, that should do for around here.
I think I'll build a railway here to help production.
And while I'm at it, a harbor over here.
I have just enough for one more fortress, and I know where I'm putting it, but I have to wait a few minutes since there's a workshop in production, so I'll just check out a few other things for now.
Wow, not much left of Italy. Truthseeker is doing a hell of a job down there! I'm so dead...
Ummm.... Okay. Apparently Portugal, Poland, and Serbia have given me Right of Way, which is nice, but I have no idea why.
While I'm looking around, I now know where I'm going to attack next: Denmark. I've been thinking about it, but after looking it over, it seems like it's ripe for the picking since there appears to be a ton of rebelling happening there. At least 3 or 4 different provinces have rebellions going on, so they should be easy to take over, which should give me a huge advantage over Denmark. I'll probably start attacking shortly after I conquer Sweden.
This is odd. I haven't pointed this out yet, but whenever I click on London, after I click out of the close up of it, it jumps me to down here. I couldn't figure out why until I saw that tiny speck of land just under former Italy. It's orange, just like my provinces, so it appears that there's a small part of Great Britain over here for some reason. I'm assuming it's a bug in the map, but who knows.
Finally. Now I can get that fortress started.
And that's all I can do for now, except for waiting for my troops to arrive at their destinations. I'll try to check back later tonight to see how things are going if I have time, but for now, I'll end this here.
So anyway, until next time, see ya!

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
To be fair, Italy's cities are closer together than Sweden's and I'm able to support my troops from the sea easily.
I've been wondering if that's really part of Great Britain. I noticed it in our first game, but we haven't really seen any proof.

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Day 22:
So that's the force I am dealing with and it doesn't seem like too much of a threat so I'll send Bismarck to the other unit.
Now that's nice to know. I'll deploy my fighter to Prague and my bomber to Innsbruck.
I'll also build an airbase in Breslau.
MONEY
$16,356 total, not bad. I'll take it.
This is my force for hopefully the rest of the war.
While I was starting production on my newest battleship, the Scharnhorst, I noticed that all of Denmark is in really bad shape. So that suggests to me that they have run out of a certain supply, probably food.
So there's some more intel. Good, good, it suggests that Austria-Hungry has around 300 units.
*after a second that number sinks in*
That's about the same amount I currently have... I'm going to have to build up my defenses then. Without some good defenses, things aren't going to be fun due to my large border with Austria-Hungry. Bismarck will certainly appreciate the backup her sister will provide and will gladly welcome additional backup.
Oh so he's going to Cagliari. I don't like that.
Last night apparently didn't go so well...
And the intel is in!
Dammit I lost another artillery unit. I'm going to need much more of those if I want to deal with Austria-Hungry efficiently. Like 10, but it takes a day to make each one and I also need tanks.
I was also hoping Bismarck would've finished up by now.
FUCKING SON OF A FUCKING BITCH
*now spends some goldmark to get myself some artillery units*
It's now too late for any new artillery units to reach Italy in time to be useful so I'll just have them join the slowly growing invasion force in Leipsic
Time to bombard Palermo
- Day 23:
Excellent. Now move on to the rest of the boot.
So jokool has made a lot of progress.
Meanwhile in the Mediterranean Sea, Tirpitz is just 5 hours from joining her sister,
The battle has begun for Reggio,
And my rail network is gradually expanding South.
Oh look, Reggio is now mine. Now is also a good time to mention I'm building a railroad in Brindisi, again my building material production is extremely important. Without it I'm not able to build at the pace I want to.
I'll go ahead and share a little discovery I made a long time ago, railroads seem to benefit your enemies too.
So Scharnhorst will be completed in about 33.5 hours.
I better make sure I have the resources to start construction on my next battleship, the Gneisenau.
Those look like some decent food orders so I'll fulfill as many as I can to earn some more cash.
I forgot to check up on the status of Reggio. So the fortress is gone, there are Barracks under construction and cars being built. However I want to wait for the barracks to finish first as it is too close to completion to be abandoned now.
Oh Dunspach, I wasn't expecting there would a force that strong at Cagliari. At least Tirpitz will reach Bismarck just after they take to the seas.
Fuck. That barracks is completed, but damaged from the battle. At least I only have to wait 12 hours for the cars.
This war is nearly over... Time to prepare for the next one.

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Spoiler:
Sweden is nearly mine now!
I am having a bit of a food issue again though....
I'll go ahead and send Moka further north, send some troops towards the next Swedish Province, move other troops around, and then try to gather my armored cars up together.
This may be part of my food issue. I imagine once things settle down, more fish should start coming in, so I'll go ahead and try to repair that barracks again, though, I'll probably have to deactivate it later since it does take a lot of grain to run...
I'll also go ahead and build up a couple of fortresses:
I'll also build up the factory in Egersund to help grain production:
*notices something in the paper*
Interesting... Seems like there was a Swedish rebellion in one of the provinces I have now, which probably means... *looks in yesterday's paper*
Yep, I did lose the battle there at Trondhjem... Oh well, I still managed to get it back.
Went ahead and started building another armored car unit for later to join up with my other armored cars.
I think I'll stop building for now and save up a bit. I want to get another battleship ready for my next target (even though, I probably won't need it since Denmark looks like crap at the moment :P).
Hmmm... I see a German unit over here. Guessing a battleship that Truthseeker is sending down to Italy or somewhere.
Anyway, that'll do it for now, so until next time, see ya!

I've got more oil
I'm very pleased that both the railroad and the level 2
Workshop are intact.

I've got some more railroads helping production and
morale for the rest of my country. It helps morale since it
shortens the distance to the capital.

Looks like jokool is continuing to underestimate his enemy.
Finally, the war is over.
The casualties stand at 316,000 for Italy and 89,000 for
Me. My casualties include several artillery units and a car or
two.
- Day 25:
Wow, just wow. That's the same providence jokool lost
earlier to Sweden.
Not only that, that's the lengthest description I've seen of an rebellion.
Finally Scharnhorst is completed. It'll take nearly 4
days for her to reach my other two battleships and by that
time the next one should be ready.
I've decided to wait until tomorrow morning to declare war.
In the meantime I'm still raising an army. I just started work
on another artillery unit and I've also decided to move
troops to the Italian border providences to help defend
myself from the counter attacks.
It is that morning so now I am now committed.
Uh oh, I don't like the sight of that...
*marshels more troops to the borders and scrambles my
planes*
- Day 27:
That force hasn't changed yet.
This is going to be a tough war.
*starts building a new Harbor*
My latest battleship will be completed tonight and I want to have all the resources I need for build another. The good news is that I've got plenty of cash.
Wow that's quite a few troop movements...
HOLY SHIT, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS AT ALL O_O
And this damage isn't good...
My fighter has taken damage too. However I've only lost one unit compared to the 77 Austria-Hungaria has lost
EDIT: That's odd, Day 26 is missing....

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Spoiler:
So after a brief absence from the battlefields, things have finally calmed down in Sweden. It looks like all the provinces I've captured so far are locked in as mine. Sweden is down to two provinces, one of which, I have been bombarding nonstop for the past day or so. The other is now the new Swedish capital. Speaking of the capital:
I'll move Moka up towards it to start bombarding it. I'll also move a few troops north to get that other province. Finally, I'll move all my remaining armored cars and group them together.
....Well....food is still an issue....... Hopefully, once I start building up more, I'll get more food in.
What the.... Now Denmark is giving me right of way???
And it's not just Denmark, it seems like half of the remaining countries have right of way with me... No idea why...
Since I have plenty of iron and money now, I'll go ahead and use it to build up all my fortresses. I'll try to do something else with what's left, like:
Build up my new province. I'll build a recruiting office to start off, then, once that's done, get a fortress started on.
Well, I was going to build a battleship if I had enough, but I used up most of my iron for my fortresses...
And seeing how iron is a bit pricey right now, I guess I'll have to wait to get more iron...
I'll go ahead and shift around iron and wood consumption to help bring in more iron for later. I should be able to build a battleship by tomorrow.
And after starting the fortress in Sundsvall, I'll end this update here, so until next time, see ya!

lol, I've got cash, cash, and more cash so the price of iron and lumber isn't a big deal.

Re: Supremacy 1914: End of The Great Tea War
- Spoiler:
This is it! Just one more province to take over!
That should be enough.
It feels weird, though. All the hell I went through, and it's all down to one Swedish troop unit.
Since I can't build anything for another 2 hours or so due to all the fortresses being built, I'll go ahead and start building my 3rd battleship.
I will go ahead and start building up my newest province with a Recruiting Office.
I did derp up though, I think I forgot to start on something else before I logged off...
Hmmmm.... I think I'll go ahead and take that offer. I will be needing a lot more iron later, so it'll be good to have this on hand for now.
....Really don't like how my food supply is looking right now.....
Okay, I'll be coming back later tonight to check up on things, building harbors and railroads on fish and grain provinces, and also preparing my army for it's next mission: Denmark (even though, they've given me right of way... :P).

I find it amusing that I went from a desperate food situation to bathing in cash from selling food and you fall into a desperate food situation.

It's not over by a long shot. Hell the real war hasn't even begun yet and probably won't for another few weeks. Even when it does begin, the game won't end until someone has conquered everyone and everything.
