16 coaches may be too light of a load.
Took that corner at less than line speed and was screeching the whole way.

I've arrived at Truckee and it's 15:39. Looking over at the water tower, there' no way I can fit the locomotive like this. I'm going to pull up into the yard so that my train is off the moutain grade so I don't have to worry about it.
Now for the tricky bit, the tower is close to the end of the line...
Now, are you going to be nice or will I have to make 7,083 gallons stretch until I get to sparks?
*watches in delightment as the tender fills*

I'm enjoying the minor speed increase Truckee gives to Northbound trains. That said, #3985 is not easy to hold back even on the level stretches of track. I think if were to have a heavier train, I would have to stop for water at Colfax and Norten.

I'll do that one, if the lack of a locomotive listed doesn't break the scenario.

I bet you guys didn't expect this locomotive. I got it at the same time I got the route. This class of locomotives had one of the shortest working lives of all the standard classes built by British Rail.
I've got .40 tons of coal and 300 gallons of water. First I've got to get water.

God the lag makes it so damn long to add 2,700 gallons of water.

I just noticed that if I were to continue past the turn off for Dumfries, I would be onn my way to Lockerbie, the site of one of the worst Terrorist Acts in Avaviation. Go look up Pan Am Flight 103.

So it seems RailSimulator is focusing on expanding it's German Inventory. I'm not really interested in German Railroads, but if they come out with a cool looking locomotive, then I'll get it.

If you guys remember correctly, I've tried this secenario before, but had to quit due to extreme lag. Things are still laggy, likely due to my long train, but I'll see if it improves after I leave the yard.
