Re: Poké Park [v6]
I've been playing Pokémon Duel quite a bit lately. It's pretty nice.
The only thing I could suggest to improve it would be letting me actually get the gosh diddly darn middle evolutions

Two questions about Poke mom Bank.
First, it's $4.99 for a year, right?
Second, you use eShop funds to pay it, right?

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Now that all of my old Pokémon are in Moon, I've been thinking of replaying Pokémon X. It was honestly one of my favorite Pokémon games and I've wanted to replay it since I beat it in 2013.
I just need to get through the rest of my game backlog first. :U

I'm trying to put together a battle team, but I'm getting frustrated by the fact that Game Freak made Hyper Training available only to Level 100 Pokémon in the same generation that they removed getting experience from the Day Care.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
You were never gonna get to level 100 through the Day Care anyways.
It is frustrating that there's not a reliable source of EXP for level 70+ mons, however. Reliable, and not totally repetitive. *glares at the freakin' mid-60s of the Elite Four*

Eh, it was pretty easy to get to Level 100 through the Day Care in Gen VI. All you had to do was go to Lumiose and bike around Prism Tower with something to hold your Circle Pad in place.

Ah, brings back memories of me biking up and down Skyarrow Bridge hatching eggs back in my breeding days of Gen V.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Fun fact: Poke Pelago's timers automatically finish at the start of each month. As such, you can set your time to 1/31/17 at 23:59 (it apparently has to be 1/31/17), and then voila, tons of EXP for relatively little effort.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
And, like, it was piss-easy to level up conventionally in Gen VI. Probably way faster than putting two Pokemon in the Day Care at a time. Especially in ORAS with the E4 rematches and FUCKING BLISSEY BASES.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
I'd like to confirm that Blissey Bases were absurdly easy to level up with. Raised a Kakuna to level 100 pretty easily with it. (It, of course, evolved into Beedrill. Generation VI introduced a mechanic that let Pokémon that can evolve but hasn't yet (presumably only via level up, but Bulbapedia doesn't specify) gain 20% more EXP, so it's advantageous to leave a Pokémon that can evolve stay in its pre-evolved state.)
I mean. Considering she mentioned Lumiose Cap was probably considering X and Y only, but the Battle Maison also had Pretty Good EXP (especially for a ghost type, damn).
It also probably helped that it didn't have EXP scaling. :V

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Is it bad that I never knew such bases were a thing despite regularly challenging bases?

Re: Poké Park [v6]
So, I finally finished sorting through my Black and Black 2 PC boxes to get them ready for transfer. I have all the Pokémon up to Gen. V (649) on Black 2, with a few extras, like alternate forms (all the Unown for example), and extra level 100 Pokémon I have that are shiny and/or for special teams. The rest of my shiny collection is all in one pc box on Black (since I ran out of room in my Black 2 PC for all of them ) and ready to go. I'll leave behind a couple of level 100s that are extras (example, I have a Samurott I'll leave over on Black that was my starter on that save, but I'll transfer the other Samurott I started with on Black 2).
So, all in all, I'll be transferring my entire PC Box on Black 2 to Pokémon Bank when I get it, then transfer one box of shiny Pokémon from Black to Pokémon Bank. I'm hoping they all go through, but I'm worried about some that I think are hacks...
Now all that's left is to either get Y and catch all the Kalos Pokémon there, or continue what I was originally going to do on Omega Ruby and just grab most of them off the PTS, then transfer them over once I get Moon. I'll also transfer my Omega Ruby team, the event legendaries I've gotten so far, and any other interesting Pokémon I have to Moon so I don't leave them behind (about 2 to 3 pc boxes total, not counting Kalos Pokémon ).
I'm exhausted going through all these Pokémon, but I'm also super hyped to be playing again, and to start a new adventure!
