Re: Poké Park [v6]
I tried one near me, and they just had the dual pack with the 100 PokeBalls code.

Speaking of Gamestop, how are preowned copies of HGSS selling for $60 each!?!

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Most people don't sell their copies of HGSS, I'd imagine, which leads to them being worth more because there's less copies on the market.

It's because Finding a new copy of a popular 8 year ld game is hard, the used version is 70 dollars on Amazon, but still, darn.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Nobody loved Gen V, I'm guessing.
X/Y/OR/AS are rather new and I think still being made? Even if they aren't they have the eShop to keep them honest; HeartGold and SoulSilver... don't have that benefit.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
I still have SS and I can say without a doubt that HG/SS are easily the best Pokémon remakes. FR/LG didn't add much to the game from what I played of it. OR/AS added a lot, but it made them feel like completely different games from the originals. HG/SS had a great balance of adding stuff, but keeping the feels the same.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
I replayed SoulSilver recently and, eh, there were a few times where I just felt like giving up. They did absolutely nothing to change the atrocious level curve, especially in regards to the Pokemon League and Red, the dex lacks variety and half of the cool 'Mons in the Johto Dex aren't even available till late/postgame, a lot of the good TMs are locked behind exorbitant Battle Frontier/Voltorb Flip prices, the Pokeathlon is cool but relies on mediocre touch screen controls, and a couple of the events are really left-hand-unfriendly. etc etc etc...
I used to love HGSS to death, but after playing through it...I kinda don't get why it's considered so good?

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Maybe it's more of a nostalgia thing for me then? IDK
I will say that the Pokéathlon was a bit unnecessary, but I still played around with it now and then.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
I knew there'd be some sort of announcement today, but I was honestly expecting something a little more...substantial? idk, story's nice and all, but so far USUM aren't really blowing me away in the gameplay department.
