But there was a massive reliance on Kanto Pokémon.

not to mention back when it was pocket monster 2, it was going to be set in kanto 3 years later, and johto didn't even exist.

I guess I can't call myself a genwunner because I technically started in Gen III with FireRed, but I do have a soft spot for Kanto and always will.

As much as I'd love a Kanto remake with the new features, however, I certainly think a Sinnoh remake should be first. Even I have to admit that I'm getting tired of Kanto a bit--my playthough of Yellow hasn't made too much progress because I've walked these same roads so many times before... (though it's a bit of a new feel since Yellow is so different from FireRed in many ways, so it's still a bit exciting.)

If they will make a Kanto remake, I would like a bit of a change in the geography--maybe add a few new landmarks, weather patterns. Expand it some, maybe (Kanto feels a bit small to me now).

urgh....this game is so long.

And here I was fearing it was short. I want long. I want to be immersed and stay immersed.

Speaking of which, I should get back to the game. I've been so busy lately I haven't had time.

Black has some nice cinematic shots

Sun and Moon have even nicer cinematic shots

That's like saying Mario Galaxy has better cinematic shots when compared to Mario 64 :V

Or is it? They've really been playing with the camera and its angles lately in Pokemon.

That's also not really a given. Took until Planet Robobot to have the Kirby series use camera angling like Kirby 64 :V

first half of fourth island seems completely borrowed from hoenn region, which i wouldn't want to say except the island is covered with pelippers.

i feel like a lot of the music doesn't seem specific to the region/generation. like, a lot of it seems like remixes or as if it could be a remix from other generations.

i love all the pokemon from this region, though.

I'm exploring for photo spots.
I've only searched the first two islands right now, and I'm waiting until tomorrow to get to night pictures (since I have Moon) so in the meantime I'm going to list what I know so far and which Pokémon appear there.

I'm curious what y'all get! Especially since there's more Pokémon now than when we last did something like this. If anyone does it, it takes awhile to get your top 50, so feel free to do a shorter one like top 10 instead. :V
