Then again, my Dedenne beat it all by herself.

I liked my Raichu (named Rydia), but I had her replaced with...something. Embarrasingly, I can't remember.

Hell, the Paralysis might not activate, and thus you could get your Raichu destroyed. They're glass cannons, remember (I think?).

That's what sacrificial lambs and Max Revives are for.

But alass this will remain an unanswered question unless I encounter the boss again.

You did say any Pokémon can beat any other Pokémon through sacrificial lambs and Max Revives. I just thought I would point out one of the possibilities.

...well, Raichu can learn Grass Knot via TM, so Pikachu can probably learn it too, so.

But still. You're pitting an Electric Type against a Ground type.
