I see this as a Sign Up Thread at the moment and the actual RP not beginning for another 2 days, besides if we weren't talking like this, we wouldn't have been able to help Lux fix his rules and what not.

By the way, despite me stating that Dino's Deck is focused on dice rolls, I realized that in the anime, the "lucky" effect rarely include coin tosses or dice rolls. Most of the time, some "system" is used that has to become one of the two when the card is released as playable. That is, Dino's Deck will use all kinds of gamble cards.

Would running some cards at 3 be extravagnant for anime decks?

Also, I didn't stop at Episode 1, I'm currently on episode 11 (which is on Hulu) and I really haven't heard anyone say D-Pad, instead I hear Duel Disk. Is it a fan-made term or more butchering of the original anime?

I think D-Pad was in the original Japanese, while it was dubbed to Duel Disk because (or to confirm) they had basically the same functionality (making card games 75% cooler).

They just translated it as Duel disk for convenience and thinking we're too dumb to make the connection
basically D-pads are to duel disks like is D3 to digivice

d-pads can also do other things such as The touch screen can stream videos and television stations, connect to the internet and be used as a notebook for schoolwork

You could even be a character without a deck until later on(when you comp gets better since colder weather is coming)

It would be cool if you joined, jokool.

To make it more simple, D-Pad is, a Duel Disk that looks and operates like a tablet computer outside of Duels, then you throw it, shouting "Duel Disk, Go!" and it opens up and attaches to your hand. Still, this new Duel Disk called D-Pad has a touch screen (which stays in even inside of Duels).
