I got a terrible night's sleep. I couldn't get my mind to settle down, I had a near constant stream of thoughts that would go off on a tangent at just about anything. At times it felt like I had two separate trains of thought.

30 to 40 mph winds, gusting times to what sounded like 50 mph and hurtling small objects at the window didn't help either.

Nor did I really get myself comfortable, I've had an ache in my upper back since getting out of bed yesterday and seemed whatever position I took to keep my upper back happy quickly started to irritate my lower back.

I hate everything, especially myself.

I have received a letter from Verizon that confuses me, it's talking about an application for service and is talking about $400 security deposit and what not. It also talks about a credit check that was done for this application.

I dropped my phone today... Worse still it was into the tire dunk tank and I didn't realize out it had fallen until 5 minutes after it fell in and didn't find it until at least 10 minutes after that. And it fell in while playing music too. You'd think I'd heard it go in or that the music stopped, but the heater was running at the time and it's rather loud by itself.

I blew it out with compressed air, then brought it home to let it sit in rice. As far as I can, the phone is still functional but is having problems with the screen and I fear the speaker is shot. Hopefully the rice bath it's in now will absorb the rest of the moisture and everything turns out okay...

If not, then that was a $350 mistake not ensuring that I had securely clipped into the holster.

I just took it out of the rice, perhaps a little prematurely, but the phone powered on and appears to be functioning fine aside from an occasional screen flicker. I've returned it back to the rice just in case it's because there's still just a little water left in there.

In the event someone is keeping tally, another fight broke out behind me and my brother. Once again I beat his ass back into submission, despite him having like 20 lbs on me. I also plainly made it clear that I will hurt him the next time he becomes aggressive in hopes of deterring a fight for a while.

I really wish I could bring all critics of mental health hospitals and what not into my home when he starts to blow up and see how just how badly my brother impacts my family.
