Re: Poké Park [v6]
Well I know what I'm signing up for tomorrow! Then Friday evening I'll get to have some fun with my sister.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
This definitely pales in comparison, but.
A bit under a year ago, a Pokémon app called Pokémon Comaster was released. It was based off the short-lived Pokémon Trading Figure game. How short-lived? It lasted maybe five seconds. (Okay, that's an exaggeration, but only one set was ever officially released.)
Anyways, it officially came out over here today, under the name Pokémon Duel.

Unfortunately, it appears you can't transfer Mew obtained through glitches. *just found out the hard way*

I hope you're not that surprised. :V
Also used Bank to transfer the Zygarde I still had in X to create Power Construct Zygarde. Fuck you, collectables!

Are there any good water types that are native to Alola before the fire trail? I wanted to pick one up for the trail and I'll I've been able to find are wishiwashis.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Where was that again?
Also, I just dug through my AS boxes and I'm amazed by the stuff I have. I ended up exporting 3 boxes of mons, about half of them Lv. 100s.
*is scrambling to reorganize my Sun boxes to accept the new mons*

Hey, Wishiwashi IS a good Water-type. Its School Form has ridiculous stats on-par with Legendaries.

So that's why that battle felt so hard. How does one get it into school form anyway?Windchild wrote:Hey, Wishiwashi IS a good Water-type. Its School Form has ridiculous stats on-par with Legendaries.
*put the game down a long time ago not long after beating the E4 and hasn't touched it until today*

Re: Poké Park [v6]
You need to get it to level 20. After that, so long as its HP remains above 25%, it will be in School form, thanks to its Schooling Ability.
You'd think that the change being tied to ability would make it vulnerable to Ability-changing/negating moves, but Schooling negates that, surprisingly enough.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Interesting.
Also just did my first ever battle with my sister. It was a predictable curb stomp with no mercy.
We about to go again and I'll give her a little bit more of a fair fight this time. Though not by much as I'm still picking from my pool of old, battle-hardened veterans.

Please tell me you're at least using level sync.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
I'll rephrase my statement to are there any other Alola water types before the fire trial? Wishiwashi doesn't appeal to me very much.

Re: Poké Park [v6]
Presuming you want specifically Alolan Water-types, there's Pyukumuku (though he doesn't get any Water attacks), Dewpider (who has really good Water attacks thanks to its ability), and Mareanie (who is also a really good wall if you manage to snag its HA; otherwise Merciless is kinda eh).

Re: Poké Park [v6]
What's that You've gotta give her credit though for her determination despite being hopelessly outclassed. She brought out her strongest Pokemon (I think), Lv. 70 Lunala. It brought Lucario to it's knees, though didn't beat it. I brought out my speed boost Blaziken and it put up a terrific fight, taking out several of her mons (largely due to her ignorance despite being told it is Fire/Fighting) before finally falling to take out Lunala. Garchomp then finished the fight up. She was a little mad that her Fairy bee thing died so fast to Garchomp, having been so confident that she had me. Turns out if you bite one with a mouthful of fire, they burn up fast.Lief Katano wrote:Please tell me you're at least using level sync.
But to humor her, she's putting together a fairy team while I put together a team of dragons.
