It's mildly surprising since the base is way more in line with Solgaleo and Lunala then the Kyurem formes were, giving off the impression that Necrozma fused with them rather than they fused with Necrozma, if that makes sense.

The fact that they're fusions at all isn't surprising, though. :V

The code can be used from now until October 30th. Depending on when you use it, you will receive a different hat:

Sept. 19 to 25: Original hat
Sept. 26 to Oct. 2: Hoenn region hat
Oct. 3 to 9: Sinnoh region hat
Oct. 10 to 16: Unova region hat
Oct. 17 to 23: Kalos region hat
Oct. 24 to 30: Alola region hat

Note, the code can only be used once, so you can only receive one hat per save file. Regardless of what hat you get, it comes with a Pikashunium Z.

I'm legit tempted to splurge on a copy of Moon so I can get all of the hats.

Twitter has convinced me it's a bad idea! I'll probably end up getting Kaloschu, since:

a) it has Iron Tail, the only "exclusive move" (though we'll probably get move tutors in USUM which should unlock Iron Tail)
b) it has a hat design I like (not a huge fan of Hoenn and Sinnoh's, Alola's is kinda eh) and
c) it isn't representative of a series I don't like (thanks for getting rid of Brock and replacing him with two annoying gym leaders, BW  )

Question: Has anyone heard about the USUM Starter Packs? Supposedly they come with a keychain of Dawn Wings/Dusk Mane Necrozma and a code for twelve Revives. I don't know where to look for them.

I think GameStop'll have them. Don't know about anywhere else.
