It's fun! I enjoyed it a lot, plus, the battles were not too time consuming. :U

I also love the spoilers, and I am ready to give input to spoilers as you come across them! But since ALBW is still relatively new, every spoiler will be spoilerified.

you probably should play A Link To The Past first (since ALBW is a direct sequel of that game) if you have a wii, you can get it on virtual console

I played ALBW before ALttP, understood everything, so I think it's fine :B

I've actually never been able to get my hands on ALttP. I think ALBW is more like a spiritual successor than direct sequel, in my opinion.

I traded Pokémon Y away for Link Between Worlds because a friend of mine, who has an inactive account (or two) here, had his memory card get corrupted and so he wanted to borrow my game while he built his stuff up.

Long term game swap :I

Oh good, starting with a good game.

All Zelda games are good games!... but yes, that is a good game to introduce you to the series. I guess Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, though fun and great when you've played other Zelda games, don't really introduce the series that well. *shrugs*

They're actually not bad introductions! They're easier than a lot of the others, in my opinion. They're just different, which can be a turn-off to some. Spirit Tracks is the game with the most future in the entire series, if that makes any sense. And the puzzle design in that game is really really good.

First Zelda game for me was Four Swords Anniversary Edition for the DS since it was free. Liked it at first, but after beating it a second time and never being able to get past the second bonus dungeon thingie (I don't know), I got frustrated with it and haven't really like the series since (especially after trying OOT on Vizzed and getting annoyed by Navi...).

True. I was stumped many times in Spirit Tracks in particular! I still thoroughly enjoyed them, but since I started with Twilight Princess, I still think that is a great starting point. :U

I feel kinda bad because I've yet to finish Ocarina. I'm closer to finishing Majora than Ocarina...then again, I have the worst version if Ocarina out there--the Wii Virtual Console version...freaking Forest temple...

Maybe you should try another, jokool! Or at least read the mangas, those are entertaining. ^^

Four Swords is like, the worst game overall, despite it being easy as heck.

Twilight Princess is my favorite to date (though I do have a growing soft spot for Skyward Sword) because of the truly dark themes and connections to Ocarina. And Midna. How can I forget Midna? She is my true waifu.

I have Majora's Mask 3D, but I haven't opened it. And the Forest Temple was tough, I agree. But I felt that the Shadow Temple was harder. I breezed through the water temple in like a day, I have no idea why you all are complaining so much about it
