Also, I agree with Truth. The sun is too bright and it is far too hot there for my preferences. (Gets scared of the heat now that she has passed out from dehydration.)

Yikes, that's not fun. Generally if you drink lots of water and dress lightly (that is, covering the skin but not too heavy) you'll be fine here. Since it's summer here my Facebook is filled with people passing around stories about pets and kids being left in hot cars, which can kill them if they're locked in there too long. The humidity combined with the fact that Florida is a giant swamp means that water just doesn't go away here. It can get pretty muggy and miserable if you don't give yourself room to breathe.

I guess Florida being under-water is pretty par for the course to outsiders. :P I do wonder what the rest of the country thinks of Florida in terms of stereotypes. So far what I can gather is that Florida is seen as the smelly bunghole of America where all the crazy people end up. which is true

I honestly don't really think about Floradians, so that's a neutral opinion from this Northern Virginia. I think I consider California to be the smelly bunghole of America. I definitely don't want to live there as many of my favorite automotive products are illegal in California (according to their labels), along with a bunch of other things it seems. Emission standards are also incredibly strict.

Okay I learned this yesterday, but it was stressful yesterday so I forgot until now

If I rapidly pump my brake pedal while it's spongy and with the engine running, the engine will nearly stall (perhaps even stall) when I stop pumping.

I learned that my bird is a fan of Chrono Cross music (specifically "Home World Voyage") and I got him on video dancing to it! He's so adorable. x3

I've also come to the realization that college starts in like 2 weeks...x_x

Mine is in a week and a half. I've got like 4 or 5 days to get my driver's license after my birthday.

How to capture audio directly from my soundcard and export it. I'm especially proud of how I was able to figure of this out by myself for the most part.

At least you're almost there. I haven't even taken driving classes yet. :/ Luckily I live near the train station in case I suck at driving!

I never said I was actually all that prepared for it. Because my truck has been broken down for a month now, I haven't driven very much in that time. I have the basic skills to maintain control on the road, however my parking sucks really badly. And I don't mean parallel parking either.
