I am just double checking. I'll archive this now.

Re: Crystals! Swords! Job Classes! THIS IS FINAL FANTASY I!
I would first like to point out the irony that, even though this is the Pit Stop's first LP, it isn't the first to be finished (as in beat-the-game; it was the first to be archived, though).
I would second like to thank TS for getting this out my archives so I can do this again.
I would third like to recommend not to use Notebook for saving LP parts on (at least, using Line Break) because it wrecks havoc on the images and line breaks.
So, yeah. I'm doing Final Fantasy I again. Possibly joining me/being my soul slave is jokool, doing the bonus dungeons exclusive to the GBA port of Final Fantasy.
Chapter 5 - Last time...

- The opening video, in case anybody was interested:
Chapter 5 - Last time...
- Random fact: a staff has more attack but less acc% then a knife, while a hammer has the same acc% but less attack then a hammer:
- Last time on Final Fantasy I...
...godda-Ygro! Fire the intern!
Heh...the similarities are uncanny...
Anyway...Last time on Final Fantasy I...
...was Miki's starting max HP always 3 higher then Biggs' and Lola's?
...sorry about that. Ahem...last time on Final Fantasy I...
We chewed bubblegum and kicked Garland's ass.
Not that the tin tyrant didn't fight back, of course. We just fought back harder.I tried to get a shot of his sword animation but I kept missing it
Rescuing a princess in the process. Like a boss.
And a lute. Which we can rock out to nice lute tunes on.
Then we keelhauled some pirates and became part of the crew.
(note: actual keelhauling is much worse and far worse then having a frilly man stab you with his rapier. Arguably.)
Also, I forgive Bikke for plundering the town. He was just doing his job. ...plus he gave us his ship, which makes him a bro.
...we're on the ocean.
...how did we encounter a freaking goblin formation.
Anyway, the Warriors of Light met the blindRed Magewitch Matoya.
Ranger
And (eventually) the Light Warriors headed to Elfheim, where it was found the Elf Prince was in a cursed sleep, and the crown was in the dreaded Marsh Cave. We'll go there next time, because a) I'm lazy and b) the Marsh Cave is so frustrating it needs its own update.- End-of-update stats:
Biggs is the epitome of a thief.
Lola was struggling behind everyone else per usual, but then managed to pull ahead of Orko
in terms of HP. Not exactly the best he can do, but eh, at least he isn't humiliated by
having less HP then a black mage.
I still don't know why Miki has the highest HP growth of our party. Well, I do
(we're lacking a Warrior or a Monk, who have the tendency to get strong HP ups and stamina ups), but c'mon, that's 17 more then the guy made to be in one of the first two slots! (Coincidentally, her HP is the number of Mew. Does this mean that she is the creator of humanity? Or at least the job class system? ...maybe.)
While I felt sorry for Lola early on, now that I'm looking at the stats, I have to feel even sorrier for Orko. He doesn't even have enough stamina to gain more then 1 HP per level up! Although, that intelligence score is impressive. Here's hoping it does something in this version.
And hot damn, look at that MP! That's like a eleventh of the maximum!

Uuuuuuuuhhhhhh.... I think I was around level 30 for my party, and had completed this part, plus another one game-wise.

Re: Crystals! Swords! Job Classes! THIS IS FINAL FANTASY I!
...I don't know, but it just seems high for beating the first major boss. It's a little under a third of the level cap in this version, and 3/5ths of the level cap in the original version.

Well, I might be wrong. It may only be around 20 or so, but I thought it was 30.

Why don't we settle this matter? Go find out by double checking the levels.

Re: Crystals! Swords! Job Classes! THIS IS FINAL FANTASY I!
- team:
Level 33!
Also, I switched Truthseeker to the top since it seemed like Lief was getting attacked a lot while he was there, and Truthseeker can take quite a few hits without taking much damage.
Other fun stuff:
- items:
Also have a speed drink in there.
- Magick:
- individual stats:
- locations:
- Currently here at Cornelia:
Melmond, the last place I saved (or not quite yet since everyone was still sad last time I was there):
One of the places Lief wants me to LP (I think):
