Well I did take quite a few lengthy breaks from the game because it was boring after beating Black 2 just a couple of days before starting White 2. Quite frankly the fact I made it all the way up to the 7th gym leader before losing interest for the entire summer is surprising enough to me. Though a desire to prove who is the Master has reignited a passion for Pokémon.

Yeah, it can be a bit boring playing through the other version when you've just completed the one (I've done that with Diamond/Pearl and Black/White, and both times, the first version is the one I completed (though I did eventually complete the second ones, only to restart them and never really finish them again :P))..

Damn you Marshall, knocked out half my team, leaving me with Leavanny and Zoroark, plus the backup.
Leavanny managed to take out the first Pokémon of the Champion before being burned to death by the second. Zoroark was the real trooper, managing to defeat the rest of the Champion's team after being given the opportunity to boost up twice with Nasty Plot by the 3rd. After taking out the 3rd, he was left with a sliver of HP and my gamble to not heal up paid off due to his high speed and Night Daze.
