I find it quicker to use the subway.

I restarted W2 last night...

The Battle Subway provides some of the best dialogue in the entire game. Too bad it gets so difficult later on that I'm probably never taking it again.

The BS is 7 battles long, while the PWT is only three. How's the Battle Subway quicker?

Well, from what I did so far, the Battle Subway (or at least the Multi Train) gives 3 BP for a set of battles, and can be chained more easily. The PWT only gives 1 BP for a set of three battles at least, the Driftveil tournament...haven't beaten the other ones ._. and doesn't chain as easily.

Beating the PWT three times (9 battles) will give you the same amount of BP as one run of the subway (7 battles - two less battles).

That's just the Driftveil Tournament. In, say, the Champions Tournament, you can get anywhere from 3 to 9 BP... And that's just for Single Battles. Double and Rotation Battles yield up to 12, and Triple Battles will give you a maximum of 18.

Of course, I usually just do the World Leaders Tournament. It's easier and has the same BP yield.

I wasted 30 Ultra Balls, 20 Dusk Balls, and 5 Timer Balls on a Metang in White last week before it got in a Ultra Ball. (Seriously, I was on my way to catch Kyurem and even it didn't require that many to catch. Neither did Virizion who I went to catch afterward.) It went from "Ooo I should catch one for my Pokédex!" to "Er maybe it's not worth wasting so many balls on this one/maybe something is glitching and making it uncatchable I should just quit now" to "Fuck it I have over 900,000 Pokédollars I can easily replace all those balls NOW GET IN THE BALL YOU DAMN UFO"

As for White 2, I finally opened up my copy at the end of May so I could get the free Deoxys. Current team:

Oh my god I've been waiting for a Ghost/Steel Pokémon for forever.

Anyway, the English name has been revealed to be Honedge. I kinda think they're losing their ability to come up with creative names.
