I like most of the new megas though.

There are some Mega designs that I find legitimately cool, but the ones that aren't mostly just look patently ridiculous.

Wow...... I don't know what to say.....

But I will say that I don't like Mega Salamence's ability.... I'll be sticking with my Un-Mega Salamence thank you.

I'd try to defend it by saying "Intimidate only affects the turn s/he comes out" but then I realized moves can force you to switch and you may or may not have Moxiemence.

It seems that the fish still hasn't left Pallet Town, but he is getting around town.

I can't call this anything but a waste of time and/or effort.

You don't like an ability that gives it the strong Flying-type STAB moves it never had?

Strong Flying-type STAB moves with a 30% boost.

Especially with a move like, say, Return.

And there's also the increased stats, yes?

Indeed. Its Attack stat will become even more monstrous (probably).

Hmmm... Well, if the attack is increased greatly, I guess I could stand to lose Moxie for stronger STAB Normal-now-Flying type moves.

I currently have Fly as one of my Salamence's attacks, and it's been fairly reliable.

Edit: Actually, it'd be better on an Intimidate Salamence, that way, you still get the attack cut, then mega evolve.
