Aw ya, got 5 stars on the Caius fight on my first try! Then on my hype I tried to kill the Chocobo Eater for the 'To Live in Chaos' quest.

It didn't matter I saved before hand. And in fights you don't get you game overs, you'd just be forced to use escape and lose and hour of time (on normal mode and up) and I was just killing time. I've done 60/64 of the sidequests. 3 of which require extinction and the other is the Eater, so losing wasn't that big of a deal.
