I'm salvaging my sidequest ideas
long list:

neko:just talk to her and it triggers a dialogue tree, get everything correct in the tree to get her crystal.  said tree will be about the topic of "how's the weather on morbos?" gives zikeep some new weapons and her crystal talks about being part of a mafia of some sort.

strigiform:he wants to go to one of the nearby moons to see if it resembles his own planet's, so you craft him a spacship. his reward is specialized armor for lux. his shard reveals his home planet is one VERY familar to nerds. and that bunny's dream husband lives there... gives bunny a familar green cap that raises defense

meyneth:same as before, only now she gives the whole party a set of armor made of the same material as the cage, but able to be destroyed to an extent. her crystal shard reveals the backstory we already thought up for her.

thecapsfan: he wants to watch a match at the cage because battles! but the problem is that the cage has no contestants, so he suggests you fight some elite mooks and if you win he gives lux improved emotion eating capabilites and his shard which reveals that he comes from dimension S and he wants to get away from all the sexiness

thesnazzmaster: she followed her sister and her sister's friend here because bunny still needs to give her a picture bunny drew before the crash landing, to which you need to gp to the shipwreck and find he picture to give to snazz. she gives bunny and greece some high quality armor and her shard reveals that she has a secret she won't tell bunny till later (another sequel hook)

fab: he is a t-shirt vendor who sells snarky t-shirts but he needs some ideas to his next shirt, come up with a text entry of 35 characters to get his shard and a the strongest healing spell to charles. his shard reveals he used to be on the galactic council, but was booted for unknown reasons.

khaki makoto: she wants to have 1 piece of 5 different spoils from enemies, the catch is that they must all come from the same area of the game. her shard reveals she was one of lima's surperiors in disguise to check up on lima's progess which is why she gives lima a new weapon.

princess of lumas: she just needs to be talked to with every party member, she gives lief a new weapon and he shard reveals that she used she used to be in a relationship with lief, but left to another dimension and came back to see him again.

jack pschitt: he needs a new pair of headphones, but those cost money, so you go to a nearby shop and give them to him. his shard reveals he was best friends with the space president until he became president. he gives romch/me a bigger bag to hold loot in

pyradox: she wonders what happened to space devil and needs to have TS go back to where the party fought him and grab his master list of lost souls. her shard reveals she was space devil's third best demon until she realized she didn't want to be a demon anymore and start helping people. she gives TS a magic upgrade.

mathematical engima: solve a bunch of easy math, like 2+2, with the exception of the last one,(pi x pi) in which the answer is a picture of a trollface... gives zikeep upgraded inventory his crystal is about being a mod of another realm

lord dragelsnart: as another snarker, ive him the T-shirts you designed at fab's sidequest. gives aprocyhora a new set of armor and his crystal says he is from a medieval world where he rules all for inventing sarcasm

chibster: there is a chibi for every major character in the game, all of which in chests (includes bosses and sidequest givers) give them all to chibister (including herself) to get her crystal which is about being a defense attorney in japan in another realm give aprocroya a new weapon

having every crystal and beating the final boss a second time gives you the sequel hook where much was being manipulated iirc.

That's entirely within my power, especially with Skill Core (since I can have HP/MP costs exactly equal to what's going to be restored ), but I'm curious as to who would use each.

I'd prefer "everyone" to not be an option, because I'm already setting it up such that every unit has their own skill command and I'd hate to have to redo the same skill ten times y u so negative? (or have to remerge the skill lists, which isn't a problem because I only actually made three so far but it's still work)

The sequel hook idea will be scratched entirely, most likely. At least that one, since from what I had planned with Apocrypha Dýrið was going to take a more active antagonistic role. ...I should probably post those messages. Hm.

All the ideas about damage systems make my head spin. Haha.


Also, ROMCH, I think the sidequests were a good idea, but I might add or remove a couple.


I was thinking of adding a plot thing where everyone gets separated in a dungeon (or across Morbo. Blargh), forcing characters to cooperate who don't normally interact very much. Good for character development and/or great one-liners. Thoughts?
