In other events, today I woke up at 7 AM to travel down to Nokesville for our marching assessment, and...

Drumroll please!:

After that event, I went out for lunch with some friends, came home, showered, showed up here for a bit, played a couple hours of Town of Salem, and then went to THREE different parties. I spent the most time at the latter of the three, we watched High School Musical and gossiped the entire time. It was fun.

My Halloween was very interesting. I got drunk for the first time and I learned a lot of things about my only friend that I wish I learned when they were sober, not drunk. I unfortunately did not get any candy. Another issue is that I desperately have craved alcohol ever since, but I of course I don't indulge because I don't want that to develop into a problem.

This is the main reason why I will most likely never touch anything alcoholic. I know alcoholism is a problem with some of my family members, and I have a feeling that if I started, I'd probably end up in a bad position in life...

...that, and the fact that getting drunk and the effects it has on you is something I wouldn't want to experience...mainly the barfing... :P

I have your same attitude on it, Jo. I don't trust myself with it, because it's way too easy for me to imagine myself as a sad alcoholic writer with a tie that's pulled loose and a shirt that's only halfway tucked in and all that other "sad alcoholic writer" stuff.

~~I don't wear ties and I never tuck in my shirt, either, so just think what the booze would do to me~~

Your strikethrough text is interesting because the thought of taking off my clothes did seem like a really good idea when I was drunk and it crossed my mind multiple times. However, I was clearly not so drunk that I was able to figure out that I would really, really regret that and so I of course refrained.

Well, I did give that bit of info matter-of-factly, and it was only because Jack mentioned that he might do that too if he were drunk.

No. I do know some adults that are more than happy to let me drink if I wanted to, though.
