Halloween 2015

With Halloween on a Saturday this year, there's sure to be a heck of a lot of trick-or-treating going around.
How's your Halloween been so far? What are your decorations like? What costume are you wearing? What candy have you stolen from the bowl?
We've got spiderwebs on the front porch (with giant spiders and a skeleton wrapped inside), a mirror that activates a screaming clown when it hears noise, the Devil rising out of our flowerbed, a giant eye on the TV (with windows open), and a Halloween soundtrack playing in the background.
Usually I hand out candy, but this year I have a lot of work so I'm doing that while watching for trick-or-treaters so mum and dad can focus on cleaning.

My costume is a sriracha sauce bottle, because I'm so hot.

No decrorations and I'm not really trick-o-treating. Still debating though if I'll show up at some of my friend's houses with my Nerf rifle in my hands, proclaiming myself as a representative of today's mentally disturbed youth unable to get mental help because what remains of the rapidly shrinking system has been so abused by drug addicts that the normal words of help fall on deaf ears.

My parents don't decorate for Halloween, they're boring like that. xD I just came back from hanging out with my friends! We handed out candy to kids and took pictures of ourselves. After that, we ordered pizza and watched movies on TV. My best friend wore her old No Face costume from NYCC last year, our friend wore a witch's outfit and I wore a bunny onesie. :3
Oh and finally, my best friend and I went to the local comic store and Gamestop, so she could buy some comics on sale and I could pre-order Yokai Watch!

Reposting from the RR thread because it probably fits better here: I'm meeting up with friends in 40 minutes or so, just enough time for me to make a Sans mask for Halloween. It'll probably look REEALLY crappy though. Should I do it?

I just answered the door in a hot dog costume with a zombie mask and a pope hat.

- I was working all day, so I haven't done much. I did wear a pair of glow in the dark skeleton gloves off and on today to sort of get in the Halloween spirit.
As I mentioned in RR, one of my coworkers was dressed as a zombie tooth fairy (tiara, bloody shirt, bloody face, pink tutu and tights, and toothbrushes and other dental stuff on a belt/in a bag), the other was dressed as Luigi (blue overalls, green shirt, and a Luigi cap). Also heard that another coworker went to a party as Mario and won a contest they had.
Anyway, since my Halloween day was spent working all day, I'm exhausted and don't feel like doing anything else.
...Not like I ever do anything... I mean, like I mentioned in RR, one woman I helped today at work invited me to come to her church's party, but....I don't know... I just feel weird nowadays around other people...
...I guess I shouldn't feel that way though. I'll never get anywhere in life if I just keep to myself and never meet anyone and yada yada yada....
...And this is why I'm torn on Halloween... I love it for all the fun stuff and all that, but I hate it for how it reminds me that I have no social life and nobody to hang out with and stuff...

:( Sorry Jokool. If it makes you feel better, I'm in a similar boat -- my entire grade was invited to a Halloween party tonight save me and 15 other kids. Yaaay.

So I forgot a key part of my Halloween for the past few years. Taxing the hell out of my siblings. Especially since they've started playing on the Playstation again. I'll make them pay me candy if they want me to do things like fix a certain flavor of Kool-Aid, or do something in a video game due to my greater skill.

I did go hang out with some other friends of mine, so it wasn't all bad. Granted, lots of these "friends" are either annoying, boring, rude, or a combination of the three, but I'll take what I can get.jokool wrote:That sucks....
