Someone on BMGf said that, too (well, more like you do the quiz, and if you don't like the Pokémon you get, you get to manually choose, but close enough).

That was a feature in Explorers, wasn't it? (Well, not your friends specifically probably, because the Nintendo DS didn't have a friends list, but you could reach out online and/or give your friends a Wonder Mail code to call for help.) I don't see why that wouldn't be an option again, unless Gates removed it for some reason. I don't remember if it did, I don't think I died much.

There's 20 Pokémon.

All of them except for Pikachu and Riolu are starters.

So, no Eevee, Skitty, Machop, and so on?

Nope.

It's still an improvement over GtI because then you only had five Pokémon.

Yup! Only 5 starters was a real downer.

I just hope that they don't do gender exclusives this time.

While that bothers me too, I felt like in the other games they included it so there could be more Pokémon options within the set natures. But given how few Pokémon are in the new mystery dungeon game, hopefully they will do away with that.

I don't think that they'll do it...I know they did it in the first games, but have they done it since?  I can't remember.

Also, no announcements at E3, no surprise, but still disappointing. I know that I saw a ton of rage in the chat because of it.

I think some of them in Sky were exclusive?

Sky was special, though, so that would make sense.
