"It might be useful if we don't make too much noise, however. If this is the cave where our enemies reside, we'll alert them, both ruining any surprise element we hold and making it appear we come to slay them," Lief said. He drew his sword anyway.

"Hmmm, sounds about right," Zena muttered as she began loading her crossbow.

what's TRG?

One of the kobolds decides to open his eyes and notices the group, alerting the others in the group. They take action and start attacking, some moving faster than others. A valiant one which we'll call K9 takes his sling and fires 2 stones at Lief, who blocks the first with his shield and the second merely bounces off his armor, truly a powerful paladin. But all is not over just yet as the battle has only just begun!

each square is 10ft by 10ft and you guys can move in increments of 5ft to make things simpler, your speeds are now in your status cause why not? Speed determines how far you can go in 10 seconds so enjoy your new stat :T

I'll post after each time you guys do something and when the kobold turns pop up so next is Greece, oh and you rolled a natural 20 meaning you were super ready and get to attack twice and move up to 50ft while doing anything else in your head(such as looking around or coming up with info etc)

Having half expecting this fight, Erin went into they battle and attacks K2 with two slashes. After he attacks she takes a second to check the surrounding area for anything.

The kobold attempts to block...using the branch he had rather than his dagger and recoils in pain. Before he can react the second blow hits him, knocking him to the ground unconscious.

Much as Erin did, Lief attacked the kobold nearest to him. Unfortunately, he wasn't quite as ready, meaning he could only attack once before the next kobold was ready to act.

K6 readied his sling and threw a stone at Erin, who failed to notice it as it bounced harmlessly off her armor. K4 shouted something out as K2 fell and charged Erin, slashing at her with his dagger, only to not even leave a mark on her armor. K8 on the other hand chose a different target, Lief. Only the results were the same as the armor blocked the entire blow.

Watching the event start to unfurl, Zena loaded and shot her crossbow at Kobold 3.

Kobold 3 was actually a lucky fellow in that he actually noticed he was being aimed at and used his branch to block the bolt. He looked at it shocked as the branch somehow was able to stop it and let out a happy laugh as K7 went for the offensive by throwing a rock at Lief...and of course missing.

David decided to use his rapier on Kobold 8, since that was the closest to him, being extra careful not to hurt Lief in the process.

David's swing of his blade caught the kobold off guard and knocked him out with one quick swipe. K1, not wanting to be beaten so easily, stabbed at Lief, failing to even scratch the armor with his dull blade. K3 charged at Erin and performed a fabulous jump strike, only to land a few inches too early, not even touching her with the dagger. K5 joined its comrades in the front lines and slashed at Erin, missing by a mere hair. K9 imitated K5, only attacking Lief instead, unfortunately his imitation was too good as he missed by a hair as well.

For simplicity's sake I'll be using which ever stat gives David a better result when he attacks with one of his weapons which offer picking between stats to use :T

Feeling completely unafraid of the Kobolds Erin attacked Kobold #3, who was a little to close to the rear for her liking.

The kobold let out a yelp as it was slashed, and struggled to stay standing.
