For me, I'll either be doing more research for my current idea, or just try another idea I have.

I might do the later because my current idea (that I sort of gave up on) was really starting to sound stupid... :P

bah, i attempted NaNo. this was my first year. let's just say i couldn't get even close........or was ever really motivated. I thought the story out in my head, even physically wrote things down, but as soon as I sat as the keyboard, everything was like "lol nope".

I've tried writing a Pokémon fanfic before, and I got a lot further with it than what I was doing for Nanawrimo.

that could be because you don't have to create/develop the characters as much in a fanfic.

Really? I always have a hard time on how the fanfic will go...then again, i've never really tried too many...
