you lie atop it and burn a horrible death

Today I learned that lying down on lava will burn you to death.

Humans are denser then lava. This is even if you're a portly Italian plumber. Although I think that the intense heat might get to you first (maybe?).

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh.....

So my dream to someday break the Olympic record for swimming in lava is never going to happen.....
