You used the proper verb. Excellent.

~~At least, I think "need" is the verb in that first sentence. "To check it out" is an infinitive, I think (well, I have no idea what "it out" is, but I think it's part of the infinitive), so...hm.~~

Watched 'The Wind Rises' today. It was really good, though it was a slow paced movie and more realistic than most Ghibli movies, though that would be because it's based on a true story.

it was also long, I think it was 126 minutes.

2 hours and 6 minutes is somewhat longer then movies. It's not Hobbit-long, but it is longer then a fair bit of movies. The Lego Movie, for example, is only 100 minutes, or 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Saw 'The Giver' today. It was pretty good! I liked it more then the book, though maybe that's because I was forced to read the book in middle school...
