Re: Off to the Movies!
Here's what I've seen this summer:
Now You See Me 2: Pretty good, I liked the first one and this one didn't disappoint. Though it's pretty different from the first one, which as more mystical magic, as this one was more about thrills and using tricks in fight scenes. Kind of felt like a spy movie.
Finding Dory: On point, best movie I've seen all summer.
The Legend of Tarzan: If you wanted a reason to see some guy's abs. Nothing particularity good or bad about this movie.
The BFG: Garbage. Absolute garbage. 2 hours of talking, and not about anything interesting. No real development about "Giant Country" they just kept trying to "awe" with how big everything is, but nothing gave me "awe". And the end was dumb, and not very interesting.
Independence Day: Resurgence: This one was pretty entertaining, and it didn't feel like it took itself very seriously, which I think worked for the movie. I haven't seen the first one, and my mom says there are some inside jokes.
The Secret Life of Pets: Good stuff here. Despite seeing a lot of commercials, there was still enough that wasn't shown to move this movie fun.

HELLRAISER 1 & 2: Entertaining, batsh!t, Kirsty yelling "OH GOD" as her singular line it seems, pinhead is a true daddy (not to be confused with Uncle Frank, aka fake daddy, also, this is a joke, don't take it too seriously), fun visuals, would definitely watch again, and I want to watch all the other sequels/prequels, and I liked pure, angel Tiffany saying "oh, sh!t" as her first words in God knows how long.
The Crow: It was based off a comic book. Okay. But I think that has more to do with it being one of the first movies based off a comic; certain comic conventions/tropes don't seem quite as brilliant on a TV screen. I liked the cute crow. An action film. Didn't dislike it.
Nightcrawler: Excellent acting. Horrible music, detracted from a lot of scenes in my book. Great suspense/action film. Wouldn't watch again (it is two hours long). Fun to indulge yourself in because it's like it's a guilty pleasure; it is annoying because you can tell what will happen, but it's, like, totally worth it when you seeyour predictions occur. You will hate the main character, but you are supposed to. His personality reminded of an evil version of my ex (who would be an angel version?).
Mean Girls: I have never watched this before. I didn't like it. People love to make films about girls hating each other and in my opinion, it really isn't helpful because it just makes the stereotype that girls hate each other all the more real to people that watch the film aka it makes it seem far more common than it really is and in turn that makes people believe it is some "truth" because maybe they identify with, like, 5% of the film. Anyway. It was "eh" for me.

Tonight I saw Doctor Strange!
I really liked it, and I just might say it's my favorite, maybe. There was a lot of good things going for it.

A classic.
A classic 'trip', maybe, but a classic none the less.

Re: Off to the Movies!
Yup! Arguably Snazz's favorite musical!
The only strange thing about that show would be that one longish somewhat random Gotta Dance section in the middle! ;)

Re: Off to the Movies!
Ya, that Gotta Dance part didn't fit as well with the rest of the movie in my unprofessional opinion. But I enjoyed it a lot.
as first I thought you meant all the tap dancing they do in the songs
I also thought the Good Morning song came from a different movie, but now I can blame this movie for the Orange Juice commercial
