Saw Zootopia this past Monday. Yup, some good stuff there.
Just finished watching Schindler's List about an hour or so ago. I get extra credit in a class to do so. Man, was that some heavy stuff...

Re: Off to the Movies!
So when I got The Force Awakens the other day, I also picked up The Peanuts Movie. It was awesome and made me feel so good after having a rough day (and week)! True to the classic Peanuts, and had plenty of nods to memorable things/moments from Peanuts.
I got super excited when I saw Joe Cool since I didn't see anything featuring him in the previews or trailers, so I was a bit worried that they didn't include him.
Also got a few more movies for cheap earlier: Rise of the Guardians, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, and League of Extraordinary Gentleman.

And bought Man of Steel earlier today and finished it a little while ago. Pretty good...except for one scene that made me go
Now I can't wait to check out Batman Vs. Superman!

Watched the new version of The Jungle Book recently. I enjoyed it but I've never seen the original so I can't compare the two.

*found Batman Vs. Superman on Youtube*
That. Was. AWESOME!!!
That. Was. AWESOME!!!
- Only two things bothered me:
- One was how often Batman was seen using a gun. I'm used to him just having high tech gizmos...
The other thing was Superman "dying," which I thought was a bit soon to "kill" him off, but the end showed that he wasn't dead, so all is well.

Re: Off to the Movies!
Okay, so I finally decided to start on catching up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe earlier when I found Iron Man on Youtube. I've seen it before, but I forgot how good it was!
I have The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, so I'll watch those later. As for the others... I'm hoping I can get lucky and find them on sale like I did Hulk and Iron Man (got them for $2 each at Dollar General), but if not....guess Youtube again?

Spider-Man is the best part of Civil War, definitely.

Re: Off to the Movies!
I'm presently watching Atomic Train. Although it does toss a good bit of reality out the window about certain aspects of railroading, the plot is pretty decent of the bits and pieces that I've been watching. I not watching the full movie because I'm not there for the human interaction, [spoiltext] or the pain and suffering caused by the world knowing that the train is full of nuclear waste, and an old Russian Nuke that is accidentally detonated after the train crashes in the Rocky Mountains near Denver[/spoiltext]. I am however there for [spoiltext]wrecks, the attempts at stopping the train, the initial start of the runaway, the wreck(s), and the explosions.[/spoiltext]
BTW, this film is noted for being one of the first, if not the first, [spoiltext]to not have a hero save the day at the last moment, if you didn't already read everything thus far :P And it also shows most of the train crew dying in the attempts to save the train, including one last death in a last ditch effort that seals the train's fate minutes before the train wrecks.[/spoiltext]

Re: Off to the Movies!
Snazz and I just saw The Peanuts Movie! We rented it from the family we babysit.
It was a really funny movie! I didn't expect to laugh so much! It was really sweet, as well.
I really loved how it was animated, when I first saw the trailers I was a little doubtful, but the 3D and 2D mix went really well! Not to mention the gorgeous hair!

Re: Off to the Movies!
So, while I'm down a laptop to play all my games on, I've been catching up on other things. Right now, it's the marvel cinematic universe. Finished re-watch phase one yesterday, and started on phase two today with Iron Man 3. All of the movies have been great so far, but, wow....first time watching Iron Man 3, and that plot twist was awful....still a good movie though.
