Sorry guys, my boss called me asking me to work an evening shift and I won't be back tonight until 7:30.

And there's been another change to my normal schedule, I'm working tomorrow. It's been a long time since I did a Sunday shift. I'm covering for a coworker who is having a family emergency and in exchange they will do my shift on Monday. Overall I lose two hours than I otherwise would, but with my seven hours of overtime on Friday, I'm still netting 5 more hours than my normal schedule.

So this past Thursday, I traveled to the university where one of my friends is attending to pick him up and take him to a robotics session with some middle schoolers and then take him back.

I recorded the trip out to the university with my GoPro strapped to my head as opposed to suction cupped to the back window or cab. Because Ayumi's cab isn't very high to start with (I swear Ford must have designed the interior of Rangers with the idea that the occupants would be teens) and this GoPro has a fish eye effect, the a good chunk of the video is shoot with about half of the screen being the battered headliner. Then I adjusted the camera and then it had a much better shot out the windshield. And it looks like I had the headstrap on crooked the whole time. And no I didn't talk during most of the trip, except at the end where I was on the phone with my friend who was helping me navigate campus. And I might have said something when am Ambulance made an entire line of traffic get out of a separated turn lane just to get through the light, which backfired because the cars didn't have anywhere to go without jumping the curb and regular traffic got out of the way when the light turn green, leaving the ambulance and cars still trapped in the turn lane.

Does anyone wanna see this?

Then I'll get to work this afternoon on stringing the 10 or so video parts together as the GoPro breaks up recordings into 2.62 GB blocks.

^Totally forgot all about that.

Anyway onto different news, after being fed up with my flip phone's recent mediocrity, I just upgraded to a smart phone for $350 out the door and $50 a month for unlimited talk and text and 5 GBs of data with carryover.

It is a LG K8 V and I had to purchase the phone outright because no credit and the system didn't want to do a security deposit on to get me a Droid that had a half off monthly deal.

So I often see red skies in the morning. This morning however the skies were particularly vivid, almost a nice scarlet. I would put a picture, but it turns out my phone's camera is not a good one.

I guarantee it's better than my 3DS's.

Not by that much, and it also brightened the image significantly so it appeared much paler than it actually was.

It's been a while since jokool was on. I wonder he's back on his internet hiatus for self-preservation.

BTW, that flashback doesn't involve Cherry Bombs does it?
