So I'm now alone with my grandma's parrot for a few days. She isn't fond of anyone but my grandma, who she refers to as Mom, and she gets anxious when my grandma isn't around. If this morning was anything to go by, this could get rough. This morning she was displaying a threatening behavior, by rapidly dilating her pupils, when I approached the cage. I do have a stick to put between me and her if she shows aggressive behavior, yes she can bite and enjoys eating left over bones from our dinner.

Computer caught a virus and we just got the replacement computer today. That was fun. x-x

Yeah Windows Defender, which most viruses can fairly easily bypass since literally every Windows computer has it, would definitely not be able to stop that. That said, there are free tools, available from top end security companies like Kaspersky, that if used in time can save devices. And a good antivirus will come with a 24/7 tech support line that'll help you through the problem. Though this presumes you have a spare flash drive and computer to use.
