Re: TOUCHDOWN, MANCHESTER UNITED WINS THE RACE
He only has two races to do so though I think before the chase field becomes too small.

Football season officially begins for me tonight! OU opens it's 2014 season tonight against Louisiana Tech!

Some highlights from the currently ongoing race: Besides Jeff Gordon hitting the wall earlier (which I've already mentioned that in the Lava Cooler...), Tony Stewart's return has a bad turn after he's also hit the wall and has major damage to his car.
Also, a squirrel caused a bit of mischief on track.

Kasey Khane is your winner, snagging his first win of the season, and locking up a spot in the chase!
Matt Kenseth, with a second place finish, also locks up a spot in the chase, despite not having any wins this season.

Brad Keselowski, won tonight's race at Richmond, giving him 4 wins total this season, and giving him the top spot in the Chase.
The race was mostly uneventful, except for this: http://www.foxsports.com/nascar/shake-and-bake/nascar-fan-brings-out-caution-at-richmond-by-climbing-fence-090614
Oh, and since this was the last race of the regular season, we now have the official Chase Grid set:

Chicago lost in overtime to Buffalo, and the home team still sucks, so there's nothing really new in the world of handegg...football.

*is cringing at the score in Dallas right now*

Re: TOUCHDOWN, MANCHESTER UNITED WINS THE RACE
Share the cringe, what's the score?
Also I was curious how NASCAR engines stack up to street engines. I choose to compare 250 HP to the F-150 and the results are surprising. Even the base engine, a 3.7L V6, puts out 302 horsepower at 6500 RPM (Though I would like to point out that's about the destruction speed of most street engines), which is significantly more. All the other engine options, (the 3.7L V6 Ecoboost, 5.0L V8, and 6.2L V8) also kick the shit out of the NASCAR specs.
In theory anyway, do you know where I could find specs on the average NASCAR engine?

San Francisco 21 - Dallas 3.... That's just from the first quarter.....
Dallas is close to scoring again though.
Edit: No.... They just turned it over in the end zone yet again.....

Re: TOUCHDOWN, MANCHESTER UNITED WINS THE RACE
So... Some more drivers unfortunately died over the weekend. The next race at Dover is going to be a restricter plate race. All of next year's races are restricter plated, cutting horsepower from 250 to 175. Next gen cars are going to be equipped for rain. And a dozen more or so changes to the rule book.

The only death I can find is a fan dying in a racing school accident.
