A long time.

Going from my dueling deficiencies to the anime, it's really idiotic of the writers to have Joey not know that he needs to Tribute Summon his Giltia...when he knew two episodes ago that he needed to Tribute Summon Red-Eyes.

Wonder why the real Seal of Orichalcos pales in comparison to its anime version? Find out why!

Also the Waking the Dragons cards continue to be introduced into the real game, including Kaiba's "The Fang of Critias" and "Mirror Force Dragon" - a spell card that can basically fuse with a Trap Card and a fused version with...Mirror Force.

"Mirror Force Dragon" seems particularly notable...

So either there's a mistranslation (I wouldn't be surprised if the effect only triggered when MFD was targeted) or we're being given the ability to clear the field by the opponent doing fairly common things.

It's not without weaknesses, of course - Lightning Vortex and Raigeki can destroy all your monsters and not target a single thing. But I have to wonder what they were smoking when they thought this was a good idea.

Somewhat related, the anime is being extremely confusing. And it's not 4Kid's fault.

So I'm watching the Kaiba vs. Ishizu duel, and Ishizu secretly activated her Trap Card. Ignoring how that flies in the face of the rules - you have to announce that you activate a Trap Card, and even if you explicitly say it, you have to flip it face up - Kaiba steals a monster of hers it's attached to using Soul Exchange and uses it to summon Obelisk. (This also flies in the face of the real world cards, but the anime's done that before, and it isn't as relatively huge as the Trap thing.) The Trap Card then passed its effect to Obelisk, making him blow up as soon as he attacks. So what does Kaiba do? (Summon another monster using a card and somehow) summon Blue-Eyes...by Tributing Obelisk. Somehow the Trap Card isn't passed on. What. Daaahck?

Also I believe Immortal of Thunder only makes you lose 5000 Life Points if he's Flipped, meaning if Lux did attack him with Junk Barrage-equipped Alucard, only Lux would lose Life Points.
