I've only played two game Awakening and Sacred Stones, And I didn't finish SS because Joltik took it with her to college :/

But there are still ridiculously fun and addicting games :D

I played most of them via ~emulation~. Except Radiant Dawn and Thracia 776 (well, I did, but I quit).

I think the capture mechanic is pretty neat, though.

Capture Mechanic?

Basically, there's not a lot in the way of money making in the game, so you have to capture enemies to get new stuff. Using the capture command - only available when you have a higher build then your target, or if the target is unequipped - has you do weakened attacks to reduce an opponent's HP to zero. If it happens, you get the opponent as if you rescued them and can strip them of their stuff. Captured enemies with no weapon are automatically captured.

Of course, your opponents can capture you too, so.

That does sound pretty interesting, though it also sounds like it could get really annoying.

True. But you could at least claim it's adding a layer of strategy.

Is it just bad, or really hard?

Really hard. Not helping anything is the fact that they removed the fixing weapons thing from Geneology of the Holy War, meaning that the really really good weapons you get you have to be liberal in usage.

Of course, this goes for every Fire Emblem game ever (except for, obviously, Geneology of the Holy War (and Gaiden, as it didn't have weapon uses)), which is stupid.

Also what is among the worst lords in the series ever, even though Leif/Leaf was awesome in Geneology of the Holy War.

Although the translation is. It stops near the end of the game and the battle menu is nigh-incomprehensible.
