Re: Poké Park
^^^Maybe that in itself is the element to make quadruple battles challenging.
^^The last time we followed the previous generations, we got a double sequel instead of a third version.

Re: Poké Park
Generation I presented the basic battle system of one on one.
Generation II kept it like that.
Generation III added the potential of double battles (and tag team battles).
Generation IV kept the single and double battles.
Generation V introduced the Rotation and Triple battle systems, allowing for three Pokémon per side to be in battle at once.
Notice the pattern?

Re: Poké Park
And Generation V threw the game ordering out the window with B2W2 instead of Grey and did not introduce any remakes, things that previous generations had led us to predict. Based on the last generation, I cannot believe such a prediction on the battle system based solely on what previous generations introduced.

Re: Poké Park
At this point you could equate this generation to generation two as far as things go. In fact, I think you could say that they're trying quite hard to mirror the progression of the earlier generations. Generation five rolled everything back as if it was a completely different timeline in the generational canon, there were two "third versions" instead of one (if you count Yellow and Blue as another third version due to Blue being released in Japan after the original Red and Green), and now generation six seems to be adding new types, adding or altering game mechanics, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought Team Plasma back like Team Rocket, to be honest. I've heard there were some loose ends left in N's story at least.

Re: Poké Park
^^^Well, Generation VI also includes the Eeveelution, as per even-numbered Generations rule. So.
Also, for the last time, GENERATION III DID NOT GET A REMAKE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT REQUIRED. Incompatibleness made catching 'em all impossible (data structures, including IVs, were changed, making trading between Generation I/II and III impossible, and the lack of a GBA slot on the DSi made using Pal Park - and therefore getting 'mons exclusive to Generation III was impossible), so they remade the first two generations to remedy that. As Generation V was fully capable of communicating with Generation IV - literally no new hardware could make access between the two impossible - Ruby and Sapphire were not remade.

Yes it was not required, but there was sufficient support from the fans for remakes.

For the latter, I hope it's something in the config menu, otherwise it might get tidious.

Re: Poké Park
The crustacean thing almost looks like a rearranged Remoraid to me for some reason. I like most of the new features, though I'm still wondering how the Horde battles will play out, and the point of the Sky battles.
Also, Talonflame is probably the laziest Pokémon name in awhile.

If it's more of an action-oriented battle-minigame thing...that might be it.
