I have a hard time finding where Light-type attacks and Pokémon and such could fit in though—I suppose a couple of Steel-type and Normal-type moves could use retyping, and perhaps a few Light-type counterparts to Dark-type Pokémon, but other than that it seems like it'd be a pretty scarce type. And, fundamentally, I'd say it would probably be more similar to a Love-type than anything; and fitting with the naming of the games, and the references to Greek mythology and such (like in the post I linked to a few days ago), I think it's more logical to call it Love-type anyway.

Some of you may remember from a while back when a guy said he was from the Pokemon company (or something like that) and 'leaked info' about (I think it was) B2W2. Earlier today, someone else tried that for X and Y. Quickly shot down as fake, but the post had a hilarious 'leak' in it:

I also gave him two other Pokémon. One was a three-stage, pure Fire-type that starts as a small hamburger with sesame seed eyes, evolves into a double cheeseburger that adds onion ring 'arms' and pickle 'feet,' and finally becomes a giant 'quad' burger adding a lettuce 'cape' and tomato 'crown.' A literal 'burger king.' A lot of you are going to hate it after how poorly Vanilluxe was received, I think, but I really think it's very clever. It learns Flare Blitz.

My biggest concern is the amount of data, and I don't mean good or bad, just sheer amount. That's a lot of data being sent and received to just to show everyone's position like that in real time.

Now if there was a private version, I would download it without a second thought and play it with you guys.

Yeah, and you also need ROMs for it as well. I'd rather not mess with something like that.

ROMS themselves are not much of an issue, especially since FireRed is no longer sold in stores and to my knowledge, neither are the systems needed to play the game.

Now if they were basing all of this off a Generation IV game engine, then you might want to be a little more careful as Nintendo does still make systems to play regular DS games and thus have a little more of a solid base to take legal action.
