Open the PlayNav menu, and go to the Player Search System (PSS) tab. Click on someone's face, and you can select an option to trade with them.

Also, I snuck up on and caught a Seedot. Are Seedot any good? Never trained one (or any of it's evolutions), so I don't know how great they are, but it seems like a good choice for a grass type (and future dark type) on my team.
