Feel free to discuss anything related to RWBY! To start off: RWBY Volume 3 - Chapter 1 almost here! Excited

It's already out on the Rooster Teeth website, but only for sponsors. Gives me time to rewatch the series before starting Volume 3 at least!

Decided to sit down (actually I was standing up, doing some dishes, and then laying down in my bed) and see if I was interested in this at all. I've heard good things about it, especially about the soundtrack, but I'm not a fan of the MMD-esque animation. I knew it was on Crunchy Roll, and ended up watching the entire 1st season last night, which I know isn't really all that long with the episodes being so short (I'm telling you, i think I have some of those ads on Crunchy Roll almost memorized...) but I finished the first season anyway! After watching it for a while, I can put up with some of the animation, and other animations are just gorgeous, but yeah. 'v' I plan to watch the rest of it as well!

Yeah, the animation obviously isn't the greatest, but it really comes through in the action and fight scenes! Also, the soundtrack is really good! Glad you like it so far!

Shoot, I forgot to do this:

RWBY follows four girls who are training to be huntresses (or huntsmen if you're a dude) along with the other students at Beacon Academy. Huntsmen and Huntresses fight the creatures of Grimm (basically big monsters) and "uphold the peace" in the world RWBY is set in.

*was going to rewatch RWBY before the premiere, but got into Portal*

I haven't seen any notification for the new episode being on Youtube yet, so it might be later this week. I think the old schedule had the episodes uploaded on Wednesday or Thursday?

Either way, I still want to rewatch the previous two volumes before starting on volume 3. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow after work.

The exposition about the tournament set-up seems a bit odd to give in the middle of the match, but it's forgivable.

Idk maybe Ladybug notices something's off somewhere and while everyone's focused on the match they go to investigate.

I have a headcanon/scenario for a confrontation with Cinder and Adam/Roman that's similar ~~(the things one does when they're in the middle of a hiatus and thirsty for RWBY news orz)~~

Freezerburn and Labybug are the least explored dynamics within the team, so I'm thrilled to see more one-on-one interactions between each respective duo.
Especially Blake and Ruby, because the only conversations I can recall them having like that were their first night at Beacon and in the last episode of volume one. The latter wasn't even onscreen. We at least got to see a little snippet of Freezerburn's time together while they searched for Blake, and there's all the implied interaction for when they were planning the dance.

So I say bring it Miles and Kerry and Gray
give these shippers the suggestive screencaps they deserve
