Rising Remnant

The world of Elisma was vast and unexplored. There were three kingdoms in the known world, Katsiea, Telage and Oftla.
Katsiea was a cold land to the north that had mastered the arts of steam and beast. They bred monsters together and created terrible and awesome hybrids. They had metal machines that wondered the land and mixes that flew the skies. They are lead by a scientist King, known as Wenttion.
Telage was a section of tropical islands that had been united long ago. The island was one of the few places were the magic ore Ergernite could be found in large numbers. Being exposed to these stones gave them the ability to use magic, and most magic users hail from or can trace their family line back to Telage. They could use their ore and abilities to make powerful tech, like airships and laser cannons that fired pure magic. They are lead by the sorceress Empress, Hegion.
Oftla, commonly known as the middle land was located to the east of the two other counties. It has grassy pains, deep forests and rich rivers. It is known for being a great place to buy and sell. It is a small continent, not as large as Katsiea, but not as small as one of Telage’s islands. Many people have immigrated to Oftla, looking to make money. It is lead by the circle of seven.
All was peaceful in Elisma. But it all changed when a Magic Bomb was set of in Katsiea. The only place that could have made a bomb that powerful was Telage, and war was decared. It has been five year and a peace conference was finally happing in Oftla, which had stayed neutral during this time of war. It is happing in the capital, Sarton, Which is a city built on a hill. You are in this city, and it is time to make history.

For the battles you will all send a command then I will make a post detailing the results.
If you are KO’d During a battle and no revival items are available then you will be revived with one HP
You can start with two skills, then you can level them up. You can also add more skills at certain points.
Some abilities/Skills can only be used during battle(BA/BS) Or on the field(FA/FS)
You can buy Armor/Accessories but not weapons. Those are upgraded instead.
Abilities Level up with the character level, skills level up with skill points that you get with each level.
100 exp points gets you a level.

Ability: Taming: can tame certain beasts and have them fight beside them. You can start with one or find one on your way. The weaker a monster is the easier it is to tame.
- Skills:
- Auto Life-can come back with a little hp from a KO 10 MP, must be activated at thestar of battle. Leveling up can reduce MP cost. (BS)
Pickpocket-can steal small times or a little money. 1 MP Leveling up will result in better items and more money.
Hunter-Can kill animals and get meat. higher levels equal more meat(FS)
Gather- Finds fruit high levels equal more fruit (FS)
Preparer-Can cook meat or prepare fruit to restore HP and MP respectively. Higher levels mean more HP/MP(FS)
Wind Magic-Starts with a wind spell, Wind 5 MP higher levels mean more spells unlocked.
Gravity Magic- Starts with one Gravity spell, Gravity, which removes 10% of HP, costs 10 MP. Higher levels mean higher spells
Enchanter-Adds an elemental element to weapons starts with Fire, Blizzard or Thunder. More can be unlocked at higher level. 3 MP (FS)
Material finder- can find item materials, more materials will be found at higher levels(FS)
Alchemist- Can make items, more items become makeable as level goes up (FS)
Synergist-Adds buffs starts with Shell and Bravely 5 MP Each more spells be come unlocked at higher levels. (BS)
Saboteur-Adds debuffs Starts with Deshell and Debrave 5 MP each more spells become unlocked at higher levels(BS)

Weapon Appearance:A basic staff, looks like a stick that curves in at the top. There are a few scratches and dents in it.
Personality: Lem comes off aloof and anti-social to most people who meet her, but she really is caring and intuitive. Lem places an emphasis on strong relationships, and is loyal to her few select friends. Even if she is distant, she would never want to offend anyone and tries to handle most situations gentle. Trying to be gentle with conflict makes her more sensitive to it, and as sometimes she trouble handling it. In order to deal with conflicts, Lem will usually go on her instincts. Because Lem trusts her instincts above all else she is stubborn. Though Lem is satisfied when she accomplishes something she tries not to revel in it in order to avoid coming off as prideful. Lem also feels that she can always do better and is never completely satisfied with herself. She also finds it important to have things organized and systematic in the world around her.

Weapon Appearance: A short baton with two blue gems at each end.
Personality: Cyan has a healthy thirst for knowledge and the creativity to effectively apply whatever she learns. Her curiosity and sense of honesty are only matched by her arrogance. She’s vocal about how her intelligence makes her soooooooo much better than everyone else. It should come as no surprise then, that one of her greatest fears is, simply, being wrong. She’s harsh on herself when she makes a mistake, but once she comes to terms with it she’ll happily admit her error. She also has a dry wit and keeps her cool under most situations.

looking at the stuff, I wanna know if my idea is possible and how to do it:
Katsiean resident who is human but has machine parts as well. Weapon is a steam gun(fires blasts of compressed steam dealing blunt damage).
Asking because none of the available jobs look like they would use a ranged nonmagic weapon, thinking perhaps a ranger would work for it?

Well from a practical standpoint, where's the boiler to generate the steam and the plumbing to store the steam?
