correct me if there is a topic for this, but we need a topic on the number 1 family movie company of all time! from fond childhood memories of pooh, to the darkness of the black cauldron, to the brilliance of a pixar movie, and the even the controversy of the sci-fi/fantasy PG-13 movies, talk about it all here.

the controversy of john carter, the pirates films,the prince of persia movie adaptation, and the lone ranger (while having neither elements of sci-fi nor fantasy). all of which are rated PG-13

So, Toy Story 4 is coming in 2017. Reposting my comment on the IGN video on it:

I'm torn... I kind of like the idea of a new Toy Story movie because I love the series (yes, I'm an adult, and I still love a movies series about toys), but.... 3 pretty much wrapped the series up... What else is there to do except for another "Oh, I'm all grown up now and don't need these toys anymore" story?

And now I just found an article on it that says John Lasseter (one of the main guys at Pixar) revealed that it "will be a 'love story' and will pick up where Toy Story 3 left off." I have a couple of ideas in my head that sound good for that, but everything else I think of just seems like a disaster if they try it.

So far, has each movie made less money than the previous?

The first one (which was released in 1995) made $191,796,233 in the US and $361,958,736 total worldwide (this number includes the US number).

The second one (1999) made $245,852,179 in the US and $485,015,179 total worldwide.

The third one (2010) made $415,004,880 in the US and $1,063,171,911 total worldwide.

...wow. From a financial standpoint, they don't really have any reason not to make a fourth one...

On a somewhat unrelated topic Big Hero Six comes out today, sadly I am cheap and don't want to spend more money then I have too so I will be seeing it tomorrow. Anyone else have any plans to see it?

it's a marvel comic adaptation in pixar style. and it's surprisingly good.
also has nothing to do with the main marvel cinematic universe
