I bought and started playing Pikmin 3 today! I've been wanting it ever since it came out, but at first I wanted a physical copy and couldn't find one, and when I finally settled on digital I was away from my Wii U for a long time. :U

It's really fun so far! I just [spoiltext]reunited Alph and Brittany after they were separated landing in the Distant Tundra[/spoiltext]. Day 6 is my next in-game day.

I'm using the GamePad with touch controls right now, because it's the only way to fully control the cursor without being able to find a nunchuk. :B

There was a bit of a learning curve with the controls, especially since I just finished a game of Pikmin 2, and this game's controls are a lot different from that. Besides that, though, the game is really great so far, and absolutely gorgeous!

I [spoiltext]rescued Charlie[/spoiltext] in Pikmin 3 today! The [spoiltext]Vehemoth Phosbat[/spoiltext] fight was pretty tough, I had trouble doing it in under a day. Mostly because of [spoiltext]all the bridge pieces scattered around in the dark[/spoiltext].

Cleared all of Popstar in Return to Dreamland

Music is amazing and bosses lots of fun, favorite ability would probably be ninja, so satisfying to use

I'm very close to finishing Pikmin 3! Today I beat both the [spoiltext]Scornet Maestro[/spoiltext] and the [spoiltext]Quaggled Mireclops[/spoiltext], and discovered the [spoiltext]Formidable Oak[/spoiltext]. I also got all of the fruit in both the Garden of Hope and the Tropical Wilds.

All I have left is 7 fruits in the Distant Tundra, 2 fruits in the Twilight River, and then the final area!

Finally finished Pikmin 3! It took me 15 hours and 39 minutes and I had 87 deaths with 915 Pikmin remaining at the end.

final area talk:

I had a ton of fun with the game and I'm really glad I decided to buy it for spring break! I feel like there's a ton of replayability to it too, given that you can strategize your days differently and certain scenes are different depending on what captain is active.

Just finished my second play through of Mother 3 and I'm butt hurt that I forgot to see the beanling in chapter 1 so I don't get my silver star.

I also got really lucky on getting the 3% equipment to drop so I can't really complain.

It was also fun to have it on a cartridge instead of flat out emulating it.

Back to playing Dishonored's DLC and it looks like I've got a couple more runs to do in Knife of Dunwall just so I can do one run in Brigmore Witches that'll finish off most of my remaining achievements in one go (Cleanest Hands, Silence is Golden, Enough Coin to Disappear, Changed Ways), excluding the impossibly hard City Trials.

i just finished playing remember me and i thought it was good! the story is amazing and nilin is so cool. the atmosphere and graphics of the game are really well done! the only thing that bothered me was that the combat was a bit too repetitive and i'd hope that there were more memory remixes that you could do since that concept was pretty rad. if dontnod entertainment were to make a sequel(which i'd totally be down to play), it's most definitely going to be after the release of life is strange's sequel. 5/7 would recommend if you're into cyberpunk and wombo combo button smashing

I was playing Brick Rig after watching Nerd³ play it, but unfortunately I found it runs much worse than Trainsimulator does. That in and of itself is impressive. Currently waiting on a steam refund.

Recently finished Halo: Combat Evolved. I have two friends who grew up on Halo so now they're showing me what I missed out on. The first Halo is a very solid first-person shooter. Game-play is definitely the game's strong suit, although the graphics are great for a console game from 2001, the linear plot is good among its fellow military "we're better than the other guys OORAH" type games, and the setting is excellent because they just took a religious war and put it in space. Biblical references all up in this thing. Over-all I'd call it an 8/10 game. Now I'm playing Halo 2, which my friends tell me is better in every aspect.

Also got my first Platinum Trophy, but uh... it's not much to be proud of when you consider the game is Senran Kagura Estival Versus. So now a visit to my Trophy list makes me look like a mega-pervert. I need to Platinum something else soon to show a little integrity.
