(I'm making a bunch of cliched stories from warioware games past for this, so criticism on something else is a better idea)

story starter:you pick a name. then you(unseen) and your best friend(mii of your choice) see that warioware inc is developing a new game for the nintendo 3DS. and they are hiring 2 more people! being diamond city's most successful business, many people sign up, but you and your best friend get in! you get assigned the usual role of beta tester as in every other warioware game, and your friend becomes a new dev and isn't seen until later thanks to working hard on his games.

after all that, you are greeted to a map of diamond city a la smooth moves, and you can start wario's story

wario stage 1: he is busy playing on a wii u (probably game and wario) when he hears his doorbell ring, turns out it's a ding-dong ditch. so wario gets angry and chases after the culprit until he gets tired, but he is lost in the woods! all of a sudden, an angry bear pops out, and wario must run home as fast as he can! lives are butterflies that get hit by trees when you fail a microgame

then comes a choice between mona and jimmy T

Mona: she ha to deliver pizzas for her job, lives are pizzas that fall off her scooter.

jimmy t:same old same old, dancing in the club.

after that you are treated to kat and ana and young cricket/master mantis

Kat and ana: their story is something akin to naruto, as they are taking an exam and must fight other students. lives are their spare shurikens, (or something else in the europeon versions)

young cricket and master mantis: hungry again. now go get some food! (lives are carrots for some strange reason)

then the first remix stage appears
remix 1, jimmy's parents: you know the drill, take on the previous stages' microgames except harder and a harder boss from before

next up is ashley/red and orbulon

ashley and red: she wants to cast a spell to reanimate her parents, it fails(as usual), and a giant spider appears that she has to defeat, lives are candles

orbulon: he tries to go back to his home planet, only to find it's now been destoryed by something akin to galactus. so he has to escape. lives are his henchmen again.

then wario's second stage appears

wario stage 2, tiny wario: wario is playing the original warioware inc: mega microgames when he gets attacked by a pirate mook sent by his old nemesis from wario land, captain syrup, he downsizes a la mario, and has to get to eat enough garlic in the garlic fields to grow large again and defeat her. lives are sunflowers that wither and die when you fail a microgame

next stage selection is between the three crygors

penny:she enters a competiton at her university, and has to win the robotics fair, and the lives are remotes for the robot she built.

dr. crygor: invents a shrink ray, then it backfires and shrinks himself and now he has to dodge a cat out to get him to make it to the growth ray, lives are dust bunnies on his floor.

mike: enters a battle of the bands, only to realize he needs three more people to enter so dr crygor builds him three more robots and he enters his "band" and he has to rock out. lives are the instruments

after the first crygor stage, you have to do remix 2 before moving on to the other two.

remix 2,jimmy's siblings: same as remix 1, only with the different basis games and whatever crygor stage you played.

next you get to play the fronk's stage, and pyoro FINALLY gets his own stage

fronk: a bird comes and picks him up, and he has to wiggle free before the bird feeds him to the bird's babies. lives are worms in the bird's stomach.

pyoro: something like pyoro's minigames from twisted and touched. defend the plants from bugs. plants are the lives (DUH!)

then comes wario stage 3

wario stage 3, captain wario: he is being well, wario, and stealing money from ghosts(don't ask how), and has to escape an island graveyard he shipwrecked on. lives are tombstones

remix 3 time

remix 3, jimmy p: the twin of jimmy t who looks a lot like bobobo bo-bobo bo is back for the final remix stage.

next is a choice of 9-volt/18-volt, waluigi (yes, him) or dribble and spitz

9-volt and 18-volt: they are playing the original super mario brothers. lives are actual lives form said game

waluigi: stops by wario's house to say hi, only to see a thief is there and wario isn't home. stop the thief! lives are 100 dollar bills

dribble and spitz: orbulon takes them into space to see what it's like, then drops them off at the interstate when done, the car was stolen though! they must run to the carjacker and get him. the tires of the stolen taxi are the lives

then your mii from the beginning gives you his games.

mii: the mii is wanting you to promote the new warioware game by putting up posters. the lives are glue bottles needed to make the posters stick

then all of a sudden...

wario stage 4,wario man: the galactus expy returns after orbulon's story, and wario-man has to save everyone! after all, without a world, there's no money to be made, right? lives are garlic

ending: the game is a hit, and the player is appreciated for his/her work. wario even gives you a (minimum wage) paycheck!

then comes the bonus stages

horse building 1, megamix: all the non-boss games!!! get 25 points to move on

horse building 2,hard: the games start out uber fast! get 10 points to move on.

horse building 3, thrilling: the games are are hardest difficulty, and there's only one life! get 5 points to move on

horse building 4, boss rush: exactly what it says, beat all the boss games one by one. get 15 points to unlock the sound test!!!!!!

sound test: listen to music and sound effects from the game.
