Been so long since I've seen Abba around that I'm not sure. But now that you mention it, she does seem familiar from back then.

Just saying, deafness and muteness are two different things (deaf can't hear, mute can't speak/vocalize properly) and to use them interchangeably is often offensive as most deaf people are not mute.

So far, it would seem she is both deaf and mute. She has a translator for both interpreting what she says in sign language, and interpreting what others say to her.

A translator isn't definitive evidence that a deaf person is mute. Vocal communication tends not to be a priority when you cannot hear.
