Maybe, but it doesn't actually show anything.

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
Okay, here's the biggest issues I see for Persona 4's M rating:
It's rated M for Alcohol Reference (one scene comes to mind when the group acts drunk after thinking they had alcoholic drinks (which they didn't)m but it's not too bad, just a bit of stupidity), Animated Blood (which I rarely saw, but one or two areas did have some blood in them), Language (probably the biggest thing since swearing is fairly common throughout), Partial Nudity (yes, some appear nude or have little to no clothing, but nothing much is actually shown save for a couple of exceptions (Mara being one, the others being a female Persona or two I can't remember the names of (one is around level 60 something and has some fairly perky breasts...that are blue, the other is just covered in roses and is fairly more revealing than others))), Sexual Themes (strip club level mainly, but the bath house level also fits in too, plus a few perverted moments here and there (most of them involve Teddy ), but nothing too over the top IMO), and Violence (mainly typical rpg attacking stuff with swords and stuff).
I'd also like to point out the murder part of the game since it's a fairly mature subject, and also since there is a scene showing a body (not too graphic, but still).
I believe that's about it, but if you have any questions, just ask.

Sounds like the kind of game I wouldn't be allowed to play at my house.

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
Legit surprised.
ANYWAY, interesting little fact about what could have been for Persona 4:
ANYWAY, interesting little fact about what could have been for Persona 4:
- and of course it's a huge spoiler (or rather spoilerish):
- Originally, Ryotaro Dojima would have been the murderer, rather than Adachi; he would've been the Red Herring. Dojima's your uncle, and you stay with him for all of the game, and given how :D the rest of the game is (well most of the rest of the game) the focus group gave a thumbs down and ATLUS changed it.
Also on a not-related-at-all note Rise was originally going to be a Tsundere Delinquent and Kanji was going to be older. And Naoto was going to be a dude.
And one of Teddie's concept designs was this:- Spoiler:
and I may be speaking for everyone when I say thank God they changed it to his final design.

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
Just remembered something I've been meaning to ask: Do skills like Counter and Counterstrike or Fire Amp and Fire Boost cancel each other out, or can you have them all to increase the percentage of the skill?

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
Fire Amp and Fire Boost stack. Not sure about Counter and Counterstrike, though. I think they do?
By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet, accessories that provide the same effect as a skill don't stack with the actual skill (like having a Mage's Mark on and Invigorate 1 still has you only recover 3 SP per turn). As a result, a Persona is basically also eight accessory slots. (...wait, do they have eight? I've only played Persona Q recently, so I'm a little foggy on remembering things like that...)

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
So, an accessory like the Blizzard Vow won't stack with Ice Boost? And yes, they do have 8.

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
According to a quick search, Vow accessories and Amp and Boost do stack (up to a 100% bonus in damage, meaning you can't combine Ice Amp, Ice Boost, and a Blizzard Vow for a 105% bonus to ice attack damage).

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
There's two Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth manga (mangas? Mangi?) in production, one for each path of the game:
- Spoiler:
The first one, Side:P3, goes as the game would have if you chose for the Leader to be the P3 Hero, starting with SEES (the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, the Shadow-fighting force that the protagonist belongs to in Persona 3) being taken away from Tartarus (the dungeon of the game) into a...high school? There, they meet the enigmatic duo of Zen and Rei, two first-year(?) students with no memories. And just because the high school they're at is currently having a culture festival doesn't mean that they'll get a break from fighting Shadows... Could the clues to leaving and restoring Zen and Rei's memories lie in the exhibits...?
The second one, Side:P4, goes as if you chose the P4 Hero, the charismatic leader of the Investigation Team from Persona 4. They're cleaning up their culture festival when they suddenly are transported to...another one? And they can't leave?! And there's Shadows in the exhibits now?! Adding to these mysteries is a duo they find in the first exhibit - Zen and Rei, two first-years(?) who lost their memories. Could the clues to leaving and restoring Zen and Rei's memories lie in the changed exhibits...?
...as you may infer from the descriptions, the two mangas have a lot of overlap, rather than being what happens from one person's point of view or another. The different Sides actually change which side is focused on the early portions of the story. Just reading one will give you the whole story if it's anything like the game.
And if you want to read them, don't worry! They'll be released on Crunchyroll at around the same time they'll be released in Japan (translated, of course) :D

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
(hey we have this thread let's use it)
Devil Survivor: Overclocked is only $9.99 on the eShop right now.
It's one of the very few Shin Megami Tensei games rated T (because it lacks Mara), so if the rating and/or price were preventing you from getting it, worry no more!

Re: The Cathedral of Shadows
I recall Jack asking about this, but TMS#FE uses Force skills (and thus uses the Zan line) rather than Wind skills.
