^^Oh. Yeah, there is. You get the ability to Social Link her after ranking up the Sports Team Link a bit. Her Link's Arcana is the Moon, and you need a Level 3 Courage in order to form a Link with her.
Given that that's no longer an option...you're getting Courage to choose some of Chie's other dialogue options, then?

Oh, that explains it... I've only been to one Basketball practice so far after signing up, so that link is still a bit low.
And yes, the courage is for Chie...

jokool, if you're having trouble with bosses, let me offer a solution: stat-affecting spells (i.e. -nda and -kaja spells).
...er, the Ma-kaja and regular-nda spells, at least. (Well, you might find some use for the Ma-nda spells in the boss that I think is coming up next, but regular-kaja spells aren't too useful given that you have four party members and the stat bonuses last three turns.)

I tend to boost Yu's attack, then boost everyone's hit evasion. I'll try for some new support personas eventually now that I have room for 8.

Also, speaking of Personas and getting new ones, you can move up in the arcana if you fuse three of the same Arcana Personas (unless the next one up requires a special fusion...I think) and move one rank down if you fuse two with the same arcana (you might only do this if you want the lulz of an Izanagi with awesome skills).

Figured I may as well do a progress update for where I am in the game:
- Obvious spoilers for Persona 4:
- So it's currently June 27th, and I've managed to rescue 3 people total so far (Yukiko, Kanji, and Rise (she's still recovering atm).
Kanji's Sauna dungeon has been the most annoying for me so far... It wasn't that it was hard or anything (though, there were a few tough shadows to deal with...), I just kept running out of SP every time I'd go through it... Took me a few days to actually rescue Kanji since I kept having to leave and heal up...
I had the same SP problem in Rise's Strip Club, but I actually managed to rescue her in one day, thanks in part to death.... Speaking of Rise, her stripper shadow boss thing was......disturbing.....
And then there was Teddie and his shadow.... That took me by surprise. Totally thought I was going to have to redo both boss battles when I first saw Shadow Teddie, but I actually did a good job of keeping everyone alive (though, Chie got KOed once or twice...). Took forever to finish it off, but an exciting battle nonetheless.
So yeah, now I'm just waiting for Rise to recover by hanging out at school and stuff. Here's my stats so far:- personas:
- Yosuke's Persona, Jiraiya, is up to level 36, and the moves I have with him are Garu, Garula, Magaru, Dia, Diarama, Sukukaja, Dekaja, and Sonic Punch (though, I'll probably replace that with Magarula when he hits level 40 since I rarely use it anymore). Strength is at 26, Magic 24, Endurance 27, Agility 26, Luck 13.
Chie's Persona, Tomoe, is also at level 36, and her moves are Bufu, Bufula, Mabufu, Tarukaja, Ice Boost, Skull Cracker, Rampage (which is the physical move I use most with her), and Counter. Strength is 27, Magic 19, Endurance 24, Agility 22, and Luck 21.
Yukiko and Konohana Sakuya are at level 37, and moves are Agi, Agilao, Maragi, Dia, Diarama, Media, Recarm, and Me Patra. No idea what I'm going to replace when she hits level 39 and learns Maragion... Stats are Strength 15, Magic 38, Endurance 25, Agility 22, and Luck 23.
Kanji and Take-Mikazuchi are at level 36, and his moves are Zionga, Mazio, Elec Boost, Rakukaja, Kill Rush, and Fatal End. Stats are Strength 33, Magic 16, Endurance 28, Agility 19, and Luck 16.
Yu is currently at level 38, and the Personas I have with him currently are High Pixie (level 26 and main Electric Persona for him), Jack Frost (level 24 and main Ice Persona), Hua Po (level 27 and main Fire Persona), Titania (level 28 and main Wind Persona), Rakshasa (level 27 and one of my main Physical Personas), Ose (level 33 and my other main Physical Persona), Samael (level 36, knows Mudoon and a few support spells, but haven't really used him and mainly keeping him for now since he looks cool), Parvati (one of my newest, she's at level 40, making her my highest leveled Persona, and she has a nice set of spells with Diarama, Mediarama, Marakukaja, Nervundi, Zionga, Garula, and Maragion), Unicorn (level 30, but haven't really used much, if at all), and King Frost (level 22, found randomly in a Persona Shuffle, thought he might make a good fusion, but haven't really seen anything, so I'll probably ditch him for something else). I have room for 2 more Personas, meaning I have room for 12 (which I'm guessing is the max amount).
Yu's stats and Social Links are looking good too so far:- Spoiler:
- Currently, he's Brave in Courage (which apparently still isn't enough for some of the choices I want to make...
), Strong in Diligence, Persuasive in Expression, Expert in Knowledge, but only Kindly in Understanding.
Social Links are as followed:
Investigation Team (Fool) is at rank 4.
Yosuke Hanamura (Magician) is at Rank 8.
Yukiko Amagi (Priestess) is at Rank 5.
Margaret (Empress) is at Rank 1 (and I was a bit surprised when I first got this Social Link, seeing how Igor was gone from the Velvet Room...).
Ryotaro Dojima (Hierophant) is at Rank 2.
Chie Satonaka (Chariot) is at Rank 3 (reeeeeeeeally wish this was higher, but I never can seem to find a moment to spend with Chie... I've shared a few lunches with her, and did a bit of training once or twice, but that's about it...).
Nanako Dojima (Justice) is at Rank 3.
Fox (Hermit) is at Rank 3.
Fellow Athletes (Strength) is at Rank 7 (I go to almost every basketball practice, which may be one of the reasons why I haven't spent much time with Chie, but I like these guys, they're cool).
Nurse (Devil) is at Rank 2 (and I haaaaaaaaate this one, but I like the hospital job since it builds up my courage and gives me good moneys, but seriously, if this had happened to me IRL, I would have reported her to someone for sexual harassment...).
Teddie (Star) is at Rank 2.

- You can use King Frost, along with Pyro Jack (who you might want to fuse anyways - he's level 32 and can use the Rank 8 Magician Social Link for a pretty good boost), Jack Frost, Pixie, and Ghoul to fuse Black Frost. He's useful because he absorbs fire and ice attacks, and reflects Dark attacks.
If you want to fuse Pyro Jack and feel like leveling up Ose to level 35, you can fuse said Ose with an Oni to get a Pyro Jack with Auto-Sukukaja. You can then fuse said Pyro Jack into Black Frost to get an Auto-Sukukaja Black Frost, which you need for one of Margaret's requests to rank up her Social Link.
I'd recommend replacing some of the lower tiered (i.e. Garu and Agi) spells, if only because they seem kind of, er...not useful. Sure, they can save you a few SP, but there comes a time when saving a few SP isn't really worth the lower damage. Sonic Punch would also be useful, considering how you're always complaining about having low SP.
...speaking of low SP, the fox can help you with that. Why don't you trust the fox?

Okay, apparently I don't understand Persona Fusions that well...
I usually use the lower level spells for knocking down weaker enemies when there's only a couple, then coming in with an All Out Attack, but seeing how there's been a lot more enemies at once lately, that plan is becoming obsolete.
I've patted the fox's head, and it sometimes gives me a SP healing item... Other than the overpriced healing option, I don't know what else to do except for build up the social link, but I haven't found the lost dog yet...
Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday are basketball practice... That explains a lot.... Speaking of, I've got the Athlete's SL up to 9 just from playing today. Also got to hang out with Chie once, so her SL is up to 4. Also started the Kanji Tatsumi link.

- By now, Igor should've said something like "you're going to need more power, so we'll start offering the option to fuse more Personas", if I remember correctly. There should be a pentagon(? I don't have my copy of Golden on me...) fusion option. Unlike the other fusion options, Personas for four-Persona fusions and up are already listed; you just need to gather the listed materials and fuse them.
The overpriced SP healing option is exactly what I mean.
And yay, one more until completion! Completing a social link doesn't just give you the obvious bonus of more...er...bonus EXP, it also lets you fuse another Persona. It's pretty high-leveled, though, so you won't be able to fuse it for a while.
