so, I started a poll on bulba about classic moments or epic moments and the surprising happened.
everyone said in the posts (and somewhat votes) that either the mt coronet/distortion world incident and/or the N's castle sequence are the best two moments in mon history.
I kind of thought the choice for B2W2 would get 0 votes, but one person actually voted for it!
and NO ONE voted for being beaten to the title of champion by blue or for AZ's backstory.
I obviously voted for mt silver, knowing my avatar and sig.

some idiot on the mortal kombat wiki thought that just because a trainer on route 5 in black and white mentioned a "flawless victory" before battling your mon means he was mentioning the MK term for performing a fatality and winning without your character taking a single hit. in other words, just because he saw the words "flawless victory" in a sentence together, that trainer was referencing a series known for gore and extreme violence. WHAT.

I don't see how it's unlikely. Pokémon references stuff all the time, MK was on the SNES, at least, and it might work.

I just watched the first two episodes of the XY anime. I've gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I haven't watched the anime in a long time, and I've heard some less than pleasant things about the recent seasons, but I decided to give it a go. Ash seems at least semi-competent for once, and the animation is plain beautiful in some places (though that might just be because it's the first couple of episodes).

Also, I'm watching it subbed for the first time, since I couldn't find the dub and I decided that I'd give something new a try. I usually prefer anime subbed, but I've always just looked for Pokémon dubbed due to familiarity.

Might go watch another episode or two now. remind me to finish PMMM and Avatar someday
