Anyway, the rats charge towards Lief...and D attempts to jump the pit...and falls in and is killed by the fall. C tries as well...and is also dead in the pit! G attempts the jump and...falls in...and lands on Zena! Seeing as a rat just landed on her she feels the pain of a large rat landing on her! It quickly falls off, but is now eyeing Zena, ready to bite.

All the other rats move up cause they can't move that far yet.

Lief is next!

Lief took a look in the pit and noticed that most of the rats were dead. It was tempting to let the rat be... but that wasn't something a paladin should do. So he took out a javelin, took aim at the rat, and threw the javelin. 

I swear if Life's absurd luck runs out here

Lief threw his javelin at the rat, and somehow missed. Some might be concerned, but none more than Zena as she could see the javelin very closely as it was now stuck in the ground between her and the rat.

Zena next!

"Ooooh my Pelor not today," Zena scrambled at the rope again, and attempted to climb yet again with more vigor.

after an eternity preparing, Zena climbed the rope!

Zena managed to climb up the rope, thanks to the show of determination Erin had put on, and also thanks to the fear from nearly being pierced by a javelin...

Since I took so long to post I lowered the difficulty a bit and you made it up :D
